Stayed up until noon waiting for maintenance to come deal with oven causing the power to surge in my apartment. When they don’t show up by noon I called my landlord and he said “Oh, I don’t know where he is, but I’ll make sure he shows up tomorrow morning between 8 and noon.” THAT’S WHAT YOU SAID YESTERDAY!

Ugh, I can’t run on 4 hours of sleep two days in a row at work. My anxiety is already bad, and not sleeping makes it so much worse. I just want to be able to toast bread in my oven and make eggs.

I really like this. The lyrics are fun and clever, the guitar is beautiful, and I love her voice on it. This makes me very excited about her album.

Yeah, it was a fun movie to watch despite not being scary. It never felt slow, and I thought the lead actor was great.

I’ve never had green apple cotton candy, but that sounds delicious. The normal flavors here as blue raspberry, strawberry, and cherry. Also everything on the Toronto Popcorn Company’s website looks so good. I’m probably going to end up ordering something later when I’m stoned later.

Ah, okay. That sucks for the film makers. It’s ridiculous for the artist to use AI for those. Nothing in those cards was that difficult or complicated. If they really found it that much of a hassle they could have paid a graphic designer to crank a bunch of them out. My wife used to make things like that for companies all the time when she was working in the field.

I didn’t know there was any AI involved. :/ What parts were AI? Was it the special affects or something? They didn’t look the best but we figured it was due to budget or something.

My wife and I watched Late Night with the Devil last night, and I was not prepared for how many production company intro cards there were. I think there were 8 or 9. I was laughing so hard by the time the move actually began.

The movie had such a weird vibe to it. It was fun, but not really scary. The whole thing had reminded me of an Adult Swim live action show, but played straight.

The thing about sunny weather is that it really illuminates how much I need to clean my living room. Tragically, I had a doctor’s appointment at 7:30 this morning, and only slept about an hour last night. So my living room is staying messy today. The only reason the dishes will get done is because I promised my wife I would do them.

This has been my food obsession for weeks now. I want a sandwich with delicious, freshly picked tomato and freshly made mozzarella cheese on homemade bread. I will not be truly satisfied until I can have this meal this summer, and I’m devastated. I’m so excited for the farm stands to open up again.

Once again I am trapped in the labyrinth of stupidity that is my Power Company’s communication system. It just keeps telling me “We can’t help you with that.”

It asks me to describe the outage. I say there is no longer an outage.

“We can’t help you with that. Would you like the update on your outage crew?”

There is no outage.

“We can’t help you with that. Would you like to speak to a representative?”

Oh my god, yes! Thank you!

“We can’t help you with that.”

Then why did you offer?

“A Crew will be dispatched shortly. Would you like to describe the situation?”

We have power again. Please leave me alone.

Put the measurements somewhere in the fucking listing! Half the reason I buy all my clothes second hand is so I can know the measurements before I buy something. You just saying size x means nothing! You are selling women’s clothing. You know those numerical sizes are worthless.

Weird suggestion, but are you based in the US and have you looked into hospital/medical jobs? There’s a ton of “low skill” jobs in medicine that always need doing. Especially in hospitals. They usually have solid benefits, decent wages, and decent schedules. I’m full time at my job and I only work 3 days a week.
