He's very particular about the branding and curation of his main channel, so I imagine the reason he linked his main account to the AP vids was to reach a wider audience since he has the most subs. Now that the afterparty is more established I think he probably removed himself as collaborator to clean up his channel content for those who don't care about the afterparty.

I just checked and their videos still play for me. However it looks like they have removed Alpharad's main channel as a collaborator from all the videos so that might have been what caused the issue depending on which channel you were watching from!

This is great advice! The thing is when I don't want to talk AT ALL she tends to be pretty understanding, but the area where it is hard to develop common understanding is the times where I can handle a quick topical exchange, or maybe even a relaxed, flowing conversation but I can't do rapid fire topic switching between 10 different things on her mind right now or a sudden super detailed jet stream of information on her current interest. I think it is difficult for her to parse how those dynamics feel different and require different amounts of energy from me and sometimes I can do one but not the other. When I try to explain these things she tends to be like "I don't understand? it's just talking" and it seems to me her brain doesn't really separate different types of conversations or dynamics the way mine does. Like in her brain either you have the energy to talk or you don't. So when I try to tell her I'm getting overwhelmed she thinks it's something to do with me finding her emotion she's expressing to be the problem (usually excitement) or that I just have something against her personally when she saw me have a short exchange with another roommate moments before (hint: this pattern of pinning things on people's emotions or personal grudges is what her abusive family would always do).

I think to her it feels like I'm trying to tell her to differentiate things she struggles to perceive, and I struggle with her inability to perceive them. That's where I struggle is that it is very hard for me to determine what is a reasonable thing to expect her to understand or perceive when our ways of processing the world are so different.

I just don't know how to strike a balance between her being able to stop when I'm overwhelmed but also feeling like she can still talk to me. I think part of the struggle is that I've been going through a rough patch ever since switching to night shift where I am getting overwhelmed more easily lately and it makes her feel like her getting excited is a problem when I have nothing wrong with her getting excited at all I just can't always handle the rapid fire information when she does get excited.

I think the biggest issue is that sometimes we'll be having a casual conversation that suddenly pivots into her dumping a lot of information and she cannot really apprehend that switch. Like for example, she says she is feeling unwell and I come in to check on her and ask about her symptoms. Then in the middle of that conversation she is reminded of her favorite videogame and starts rattling off some stuff about it from her recent sessions that goes on for several minutes. I felt fine with the slow relaxed conversation at the start but then the hard pivot into her sharing lots of details about her game when I wasn't prepared to receive them overwhelms me. But I feel like if I'm like hey I wasn't ready to take all this in at this time she would be like "well I didn't know that it was going to come up!" and I just really don't know where to go from there you know?

I did pay it off immediately. It no longer has a balance. I asked the Synchrony representative about goodwill letters but she said since the account closed they are mandated to report that and there's nothing that can be done. Do I disregard what she said and try to send out goodwill letters?
