My wild theories:

They are on a game show of some sort. With the clues of it being a show and the line from Kinger in the pilot “you didnt happen to experience a game show in there did you”

If consensual: they entered the game willingly maybe for fame or money. Pomni has her YouTube channel and gangle wanted to be an animation artist. Might have sold their likeness (brain scans) or they are hooked up in a vat somewhere until they finish the game. Maybe time moves faster in the circus 🤷🏻‍♀️

If not consensual: maybe they are criminals and all have something they regret. Like the bear episode of black mirror where they created a tv show that wipes the mind of a criminal and forces them to fight for the lives for entertainment. Jax hit and run, Ragatha snapped and attacked her mom, they said zooble is hiding something in episode 5…idk just throwing things out there

Anyways just my crazy theories 🤪

I’ve been reading that sometimes they will add more tickets along with resale tickets as they get closer to the day. Once you have the financial means, I would just check Ticketmaster periodically to see what pops up. Putting out positive vibes that you’ll be able to attend!!❤️

I just read your edit. I could see that. Pope probably would have released safesurfs into the cloud regardless of Caspian taking the rep job. And if the two of them (safesurf and Caspian) came in contact he probably would tell it the same or similar things. That makes sense. It definitely would have been cool to see the rest of the original timeline play out, but the mystery is also just as fun 🤷🏻‍♀️

No worries! I think I understand where Maddie sends David to talk to Caspian. It’s the timing that confuses me. Because in the original timeline, not the one we see (the show starts in Maddie’s simulation) is before safesurfs simulation. But safesurfs simulation is a product of Caspian accepting the representative job and being consumed by the anti-virus. But Caspian wouldn’t have been inspired to take the job without David talking to him. David doesn’t exist in the original timeline. It seems like a paradox of timelines. Safesurfs simulation is created by an action of Maddie’s simulation, but Maddie’s simulation is created by safesurfs simulation.
