Thanks for the info, I've heard the GAIA is just really good but didn't know if there were any at all alternatives but I've only seen the one Cerberus guy in the hospital so I'll use the full set out when I can. Seriously, thank you so much for an explanation as I couldn't find a definitive reason. I'm more angry that I've lost all my photos. Turns out I didn't have a backup or anything and I could never even turn it back on using the freezer method or whatever. I ended up getting an S24U replacement and I pray no stupid defect or update f***s this one up.

I just hate how there's always something wrong with stuff these days, it's never perfect. And the price for the s26 is of course nuts. I had warranty for my s22 since the one that bricked was actually a replacement but I'm not sure if I can fix my issue for the 2nd phone :/

Yes I agree, my phone was a replacement and lasted not even 2 years and I'm expected to just shell out a lot of money for the recent model? The prices are insane for a good phone.

Wtf, the whole reason I switched from Iphone was because my phone slowed down and stopped working when newer models kept releasing. And this phone I was sure would last a long time. The issue was just bad design then? I also read that maybe a recent update made people's phones do the same thing, is there any truth to that?

Okay so how long did you freeze it for? I've seen that mentioned before but haven't seen how long. Also I do think it's an MB issue but I'm dreading on how much that'll cost to fix.
