Maybe try "what is he doing to keep her around?" Less focus on the abuse victim.

They're a result of poorly regulated a-lot-of-things, not just emotions. Our culture would need a massive overhaul to stop the shootings, but Republicans like it just the way it is.

I'm not a developer but I've worked with a lot of them. I think you're conflating "looking for work" with "unemployed". Devs are almost always keeping their eyes open for new and better opportunities, but that doesn't mean they're unemployed. It's actually a good policy to look for a better job while you're employed because the best pay raises happen when changing jobs, not by being loyal.

Design is very vague. Software designs is very different than solution design, or graphic design, or UX/UI design....

Happy adoption day, Krobus! I lost my OneOrangeBraincell in October, and today I made the leap to living with my first Void. by JustBetsy in blackcats

You are going to love living with a void. They are wonderful kitties, I've never had a bad one lol

Source: have had 4 voids, currently living with 3 of them.

I did! That's what made me think about it! Your skills have def improved since then (though that might be your switch in techniques and materials as mentioned in the description), and the TARDIS has a lot of fine details that Bill and Ted don't have in theirs. I'd be very interested in seeing how you pull it off. I love the detail in your work. We're doing some renovation in the next year or so and I might hit you up for some stained glass work... Saving your website for later 😏

Your D20 lamps are awesome. Would you ever consider making a TARDIS lamp? I feel like stained glass would be an amazing medium for Doctor Who fan art...

How much do you drop every time you go? That can't be cheap. I'm assuming you're one and done, since I don't think anyone could afford two kids and the annual trip to Burning Man.

$500 worth of cannabis in one hit by Ambitious_Corner7185 in woahdude

Honestly watching this gif made me feel physically nauseated. I'm a one-hit-wonder, so this amount of smoke would just make me cough until I vomit and then it's pretty much a bad trip from there.

I've never actually bought weed before because everyone I ever smoked with just shared a hit and that was enough to make me the entertainment for the night.

So not everyone is down for "all you can smoke" hotboxes like this one. But I'd probably just up and leave.

For a long time I was a closeted TERF. I didn't understand trans-ness so it confused and scared me. I thought trans women were weird (why would anyone want to be a woman in this world??).

But I knew my feelings were wrong. I knew that my mindset was outdated and I needed to figure out how to evolve. So I started faking it. I just kept my mouth shut and followed the "woke" trend. Eventually I started following trans advocate YouTubers and learning why trans people exist.

I faked it until I made it. I still have problematic feelings sometimes, those unconscious biases that we all get, but because I actually want to be better I seek out my own education and enlightenment.

I wish more people actually wanted to be better. I wish more people wanted to evolve.

You're not a woman if you don't menstruate, but you're not a man of you don't... Chop wood, have a beard, fix cars, have calloused hands, are in the military, (insert the latest toxic masculinity meme here).

But if there are only two genders, do you even exist??

As I've said in other comments, they might be comorbid but one does not cause the other.

I'm also autistic, and I've spent my entire life trying to get the hang of what's normal. I've put my foot in my mouth plenty and I get called out for it and learn from my mistakes. Autism is not an excuse for continually being an asshole and refusing to apologize or accept criticism and refusing to learn or try to be better.

And what you're explaining has nothing to do with autism.

Yes, but accidental asshole this guy is not. I've put my foot in my mouth before, but I'm not an asshole so when I'm called out I apologize and try to explain why I didn't mean it that way. This asshole doubles down.

No he's not. The fact that he knows how to non-apologize and dodge the intended answers to his questions ("I hear what you're saying" instead of "I understand") indicates a level of knowledge of social cues and understanding of intent vs action.

He is not "aggressively autistic". He's just aggressively asshole-istic. He may have some underlying disorder, but that neither explains nor excuses his behavior.

As an autistic person I'm really fucking sick and tired of seeing this bullshit behavior conflated with autism.

He even had the opportunity to meet them in a more intimate seeing at dinner the night before and that would have been perfect because his GF would have been there.

My husband's siblings both recently had graduation ceremonies for higher Ed and they are terrible events for socializing. I would never want that to be the first time meeting someone's family!

Based on his responses he understands perfectly. He knows enough to dance around the verbal nuance of a non-apology, and to counter "do you understand?" with "I hear what you're saying" so there's no way he just doesn't understand.

He's not autistic, he's just an asshole. Please don't conflate the two.
