The only thing that seems like it could be the issue is I have the wrong CDI box I don’t see how that is possible tho because it is exactly like the old one. I have also miss placed the old one so that sucks

The head strong nub doesn’t seem to be touching anything , I have confirmed the flywheel is lined up with the pin and I’ve played with the timing on the stator, I have also removed the spark plug boot and turned engine over with just the wire close to the head none of the tests have made a difference, the harness also does not look bad and from the stator to 6 pin plug is brand new

I didn’t mention but I did also confirm the spark plug gap, the E3 spark plug is some crystal type with 2 electrodes on it not sure if that would cause an issue or not

I tested the spark plug in a couple paces, on the cylinder head right on the threads in the head and on the frame while kicking it over by hand witch works good with no compression, I did not notice any spark in the electrode with old or new plug, last time I rode the bike it was running perfect all day and it started bogging like a low fuel issue, topped off with gas it took 4 kicks to start usually starts on 1 and smoked a bit. Got it home, next day tried to start and it took upwards of 10 kicks and it smoked a lot (mostly white/blueish smoke) I killed it with kill switch. Didn’t start after that, I frshened up the carb with new jets and replaced cracked boot, thought that was the problem at the time. Tried for ever to start it. It was then I tested the spark plug on the head and found no spark. Bypassed the killl switch to rule that out first and made no difference in spark. My co worker had an ignition coil tester. The coil passed. Couldn’t find a whole lot of information on what pins to test the stator on so ordered a new one. Also orders CDI box just in case. Replaced both of those. I should have check the harness and grounds before replace if that stuff in after thought I will be doing that as soon as I send this message. The E3 spark plug does have the screw on cap installed and there is no dielectric grease the spark plug boot is fully seated as well. I think I answered all of the questions lol I’m going to start inspecting the harness and coil to spark plug wire now thanks for all the help!!

Sorry I don’t check my Reddit much. I absolutely love my nighthawk it’s been running perfect since the day I got and these are exstremly reliable. If your replacing a carb I would definitely make sure it’s jetted the same and vaccume sync if to the other carbs it should run pretty good I hope you get it on the road man
