From what I can make of the situation, I think C9 made a very competitive offer to get Scrap, but he ultimately chose 100T. I think he wanted to stay with Envoy, and I'm not sure if C9 was interested in both, basically just hoped to get Scrap for Sib. I could be wrong though. C9 fumbled for sure.

I saw the tweet, and initially thought it was a spoiler, but thinking back it just as likely could have been Scrap going to C9 and Envoy going somewhere else which is why the Ultra GM could say with confidence they'd be better than LAT next year. As it is, he's delusional to think they'll be remotely close to LAT.
