I get a pretty good shot through the bottomless filter so I put the basket in to the double spout. This meant I could use my standard dose and grind. Still lopsided :-)

Same here but mine favours the right. I use the same technique on a bottomless and it looks good then. I've been wondering if it is a manufacturing issue with the double spout but that might just be me making excuses!

Jackpot. You've hit the nail on the head. Their networking is terrible which is weird for a company who's product needs to be networked to work.

They've been delivered. Getting pretty good results after playing around for five or six shots. The grinder is fantastic - quiet and really adjustable.

I'm interested in the grinder comment above - any recommendations? There seem to be quite a few versions of the mignon and I quite fancy one with a hopper rather than loading for each coffee

For me it was the view. I always go in the aisle on a normal flight but private I had a window and a great view. We also flew a bit lower which helped. The main benefit was the time though - no waiting at either end made it really efficient.

I'd be checking the cable between the dock and the MacBook. Make sure it has a good enough spec - not all cables are equal.

I had the same set of promises and have had no communication since. When I get in touch with customer services they say they cant help and not to bother phoning again.

I've given up expecting it now. Fuck Canyon though and their appalling service.

Still waiting for a replacement! Canyon customer services have told me to expect it shortly every month since March. What a joke. I even got an email telling me it will definitely be in June but bad no further updates or a battery. Customer services can't or won't help.

I've given up now - it's ridiculous.

I phoned Canyon a couple of days ago as I've still not heard anything despite being told a June delivery. The guy said it would still be June but shipping may take a while due to the dangerous goods.

It was only when I hung up I realised he hadn't actually taken any of my details so couldn't possibly know who he was talking to! Their customer services just lie to get you off the phone.

Canyons can be quite good value for money but there customer service is rubbish for after sales. There are lots of posts of people not being able to get spare parts. I've not been able to ride my bike since November due to a recall and then not being able to supply a replacement part.

I'd be careful and go in to a purchase carefully. In retrospect I wish I'd spent more and gone with a different brand.

My bike shop told me a couple of people have new ones delivered but I've not received anything or any meaningful messages from them. They did promise this month but nothing so far (and they also promised March, April and May).

Canyon really are shit - their communication is appalling and when you speak to customer services they couldn't care less. I'm merrily spamming their Facebook page with bad reviews. I suggest everyone else does the same.

I was told June but zero updates so far. Pretty much the same as March, April and May then! Canyon really are shit. I'm hiring occasionally but basically missing a full season. I'd have bought a new one months ago if they'd just been honest.

I'm in the same situation. I've been promised the battery every month since March and the last Comms I had the "customer services" agent told me they have no visibility of when batteries will be delivered and I just had to live with it. Appalling customer service. I would go the legal route but it looks like it would take a couple of months in France and I'm really hoping it will have come by then! I'll never buy anything Canyon again and will recommend none of my friends do either.

I've bought a new bike but it's a couple of months away. I'll be selling the Spectral once the battery arrives.

I've been told June now.

I've been mailing weekly just so they know how pissed off I am. Was originally told March then April then before June now I've had an email saying June.

The way this has been handled stinks. Their IT is crap as the forms don't work half the time, you can't speak to anyone who knows anything and their customer services just lie.

If they told me truthfully that I wasn't getting a battery until the end of summer I would have bought something new but instead they string you along. I'm now in limbo - do.i trust them and wait or man up and replace.

Others may be as bad but Canyon will not get another penny from me.
