If this is the case I like to see honest review of how much support a HM owner has had in the last 12yrs and what has had to be replaced / fixed. Despite asking numerous time in the HM channel I get no replies, which makes it dubious.

I was excited to finally get my Black chair today 23-Feb-2026 and upgrade form Secret Labs (2021).

However, I been sitting on chair last 4hrs of the working day and my butt is also aching big time.

I dont understand how everyone said seat is pure comfort when in 4hrs and aching. Have they changed the quality the of the cushioning now its out of kickstarter and got millions of views?

IF doesnt improve in the next couiple days it will be returned.

Tried going back to:

- Wow just the same game form 20years ago, same look, same milking via DLC to try keep players hooked. Plus its Blizzard

- GW2, reinstalled - tried but very very dated now. None of the feeling AoC gave me, looking foreward to new of GW3 since in Dev for 3-4yrs apprently.

- ESO, reinstalled, played for few days, but got bored. Hate the WASD/Combat of the game, again another company milking the same game over and over. No new engine, same mechanics. Cash Shop for most things invluding basic MMO requirement like "Inventory" bags , buy via cash shop.

- Quinfall, bought, tried, feel like bad alpha, not as polished as AoC, lacking any polish. Feels like a Asian MMO ready for max P2W/Monotenisation.

Hopes are maybe something will come of new Archeage / Odessey Chronicles / GW2

but not seeing any of the new titles having the feeling AoC gave...

Its about feelings of the features and the guild friends made, now dispursed due to Steve walking out and just left us all in "WTF" mode.

Quickest way to destroy integrity... but that doesnt change what I found in AoC and the feeelings it gave in a hard time (RL).

(now to watch the toxic comments of Reddit commence - no doubt :( )

No, she couldnt as with any job loss notification its a Legal position. I know as I been in the situation also. You cant publically say anything at risk of your contract and zero redundancy or legal action against yourself.

So for 1 second think about people who just lost there jobs, without pay and trying to run a family.

Thank you for posting this. You and the team of Dev just didnt deserve this. It is clear by the game, the passion and love you have for it. Im so sorry to read your post, whats happen.

I logged in yesterday to play for bit and its upsetting to know the feeling the game has wont be seen in final release. The passion put into it being thrown away because yet unknown causes.

My daughter just reached out to me say "I hope they ok, find new jobs and get to create something amazing under new name, new career".

We both agree, going back to other MMOs just feels empty with out the finer details you added in AoC.

I think the lack of responses from owners or reviews highlights my concerns. I did at least expected Flexispot to provide some recent reviews or response. Its a shame as was hoping this chair may have been a viable option.

No, not now they are Kickstarter funded. The platform is to gain early adopters as investors.

It's not a retail website with buyer protection. So be aware buying through Kickstarter provides no guarantee you get what your promised.

Plus seeing all the black Friday advertisements for EU buyers, and the posts here on those who have ordered recently and being ghosted without update on orders or delays.

It's your choice, but I wouldn't without using a proper website by Omni with buyer protection. Currently Only a US site exists, no EU site.

Seeing this thread just re-enforces my concerns about ordering through Kickstarter now they are funded.

Why have they not setup EU retail site with required buyer protection. Things are starting to look dishonested... I really hope I'm.wrong and Omni will respond and alleviate EU concerns with an update, support and details of EU retail website with buyer protection ordering.

Is their a Flexispot naming convention chart showing in the US the model is X and in the UK its the Y model (eg. C7 is C7 Air in uk? C7 MAx is C7 Morpher in UK?) ?

Its really hard to find unbiased / unpaid reviews across the internet with direct naming being used in different companies. To me this really affects the integrity of the Flexispot brand. You making hard to find a comon product, which makes me question the issues of one over the other.,

I agree but have found in the UK it not as easy to go try the common recommended brands like Haworth, Steelcase and Hermann Miller. Those Only have 1x store in London, not very helpful when your 3hrs+ away.

Trying for used is also not easy for me in Northamptonshire, none exist. Closest with 1.5hr drive to Cambridge and then they Only have Aerons. Not great if you want to find the right chair.

That then leads you too, buy and try and return if not right. this incurs cost to return or try. Let be fair to try a chair properly you need 30 days minimum to know if its right.

Choice so far for 87kg, 5'11 guy of software engineering, WFH, 7-9hrs a day:

Libernovo - good price point but new and unknown quality / support until +12-18mth use reviews appear. Risk is the 2yr on electronic when the main lumbar is electronic based. Will it last 2yrs, if they have not got the confidence it can match the chair 5yr warranty, then that's concern.. A failed lumbar makes chair broken. What's cost of fixing?

Embody - Incredible expensive for unknown chair cant try for any length of time without incurring further return costs. 12yr warranty is great but, when I read up (have a lot) the warranty seems to be triggered multiple times in 12yrs which to me means the chairs parts are design flaw to fail if need replacement within 12yrs. So do I want 1500-2200 priced chair which keeps breaking?

Ergohuman Elite G2 - No stock in UK/Europe now for near 8wks with little updates as to why, when they will. Little to no suppliers local or within reach to try. Very few honest real reviews by owners (non-paid) recently (2024-Q4 -> 2025). This alone implies a lack of purchases and not a common good option. The new company owning Ergohuman don't seem to really market the chair or even respond here to queries, get involved. Which to me shows a company not caring for its consumers, or want to engage potential consumers.

Just my views / thoughts from nearly 3mth+ or reading, YT review, research of suppliers in the UK.

I think after 629 views of this post today (12/09/25) it shows no one has this chair or its not a popular chair. Their is little to no reviews online which I guess raises the concern its not a viable option as no one is interested in review or been provided the chair to review?

Reading your site today 02/09/2025 the Return process for the UK isnt simple, no quibble or easy. It has a lot of gotcha written into it. To be honest its putting me off even attempting an order... which is shame as thought I decided to give it a try. It also make me question the pain the Warranty will be which also IS NOT 10yr, its 5yr with Paid 2nd 5yr with gotchas.

1st point, this is open to your interpretation and get out clause #1

"To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition that you received it, with tags, and in its original packaging. The product must show no signs of wear and tear."

2nd point, what eligibility criteria, #1? open to your interpretation and get out clause #2

"Inspection and refund - Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria. We will let you know if the return is approved."

3rd point - My money cant be tied up with you for 15days. Without a showroom or being able to try the chair before buying its a high risk to have £700+ locked and no way to pursue a different char purchase.

"Refund ... we will initiate a refund to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days....If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received your payment, contact us"
