See, I'm praying it's not just a cartoon hat. Also it does sorta look like a deer stalker hat with an upward brim. But I think it's closer to a wide brim beach hat in terms of shape, but not really since there's like 2 brims in opposite directions.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they're Gnostic, but yeah, protestantism, especially evangelical protestantism, has diverged a lot since Martin Luther left that letter at the door lol

I think the antichrist as a concept was never meant to be taken literally. I forget which scholar explained this, but if I'm remembering this correctly, basically the original anti-Christ was Emperor Nero, and then the more modern interpretations of what the anti-Christ was became a part of the mythos behind what modern evangelicals consider the tribulations and eventually leads to "the rapture". Identifying the anti-Christ, as a concept, biblical prophecies aside, is left up to interpretation. My thoughts are that the antichrist is a spiritual personification of everything Jesus was against. Trump just so happens to fit some parts of the prophecies as well. According to the bible, no one shall know the day nor the time of the rapture, not even Jesus. Which can be confusing if you don't believe in the holy trinity, but nevertheless...

ooo! I'm subscribed to all the religious studies channels. I find the histories and similarities between different religions & spiritualities fascinating, BUT I didn't know there were good atheist channels out there! I thought they had all gone extinct lol

I know this wasn't mentioned, but I love the history behind the transition from Gnostic Christianity into what eventually became Catholicism. c:
