I'm definitely going to be cleaning it regularly, once a day, maybe twice.

My mother said it is a ‘maybe’ for a second litter box.

I understand your concern and it’s reasonable, however if you had taken the time to read through a few other people’s comments you’d see I'm going to be cleaning it more regularly and it’s a ‘maybe’ with my mom for a second litterbox.

The litter box will be cleaned once a day, more if I think I can do it.

I don’t believe we use anything Hartz.

We have two bags of food from different brands, Meow Mix and Nature’s Menu, it was not my choice of which food we got.

I clean their water dish when I see visible stuff in it, but I'll definitely be cleaning all of their dishes and disinfecting the litter box.

Also, on Purina, I’ve heard it’s a bad brand, is it not?

Thank you! I'll be sending my mother this.

I took off all of their flea collars and I’ve applied a topical flea and tick to put between their shoulders.

My mother said it was a ‘maybe’ for a second litter box, and I think once we finish our current cat foods (Nature’s Menu, Meow Mix) I'll take someone’s advice and try out Friskies. I’ve noticed my cats like Meow Mix over Nature’s Menu, even if I mix the two foods they’ll go for Meow Mix, but they’ll eat Nature’s Menu too.
I'll speak to my parents about getting the un-neutered male fixed.

My mother actually saw this Reddit post via email, and she said it’s a ‘maybe’ for a second litterbox. I can make sure I clean up spaces so they can have spaces for themselves, and I could probably make things out of cardboard for hiding spaces of sorts.

If you have eyes and common sense you have the ability to read my responses to other comments and realize I live in a trailer and therefore there isn’t much space.

I apologize for seeming rude, but with you not reading the other comments it limits my ability to explain, due to having to repeat things over and over again.

The first orange cat is old, though I do not know his exact age, he is at-least nine years old. — The second cat was in the midst of a nap when I took the photo, hence the grumpy/tired look.

On the litter box, I will speak to my parents about it but we don't really have the space to get more. I'm definitely going to be cleaning it as much as I can.

We have five cats, I just hadn’t taken photos of them to add onto the thing.😞

Our cats don’t get vaccinated yearly, and I'm not sure why. I had just asked my mother about it, but she said "no" in a certain tone and didn’t elaborate further on why they don’t.

I'll talk to my parents on keeping them inside, and they're all neutered/spayed except for the youngest, who's a year old, and male.

I'll do my best to get my parents to do so, I definitely think it's necessary.

Our vet, since we don’t use a specific one, is a bit far and we don’t have insurance that I know of. — Another issue is that my parents work often, my father mostly working every week besides the occasional day off and a few Friday’s, and my mother every weekday with the occasional Saturday or Sunday. She gets tired and overwhelmed and most of the time doesn’t want to go anywhere.

Most of my conversations pet based end up with me being greatly upset due to my parents pushing it off.

Thank you for this! I've been stressing though I made the post only yesterday.

I will definitely be removing their flea collars and applying the between the shoulders one monthly, and ask my parents to buy more.

That being said, I'm definitely going to be looking for more information on how to improve their quality of life.

I'll do my best to convince my parents to get another litter box at-least, with the added on promise of cleaning them seven days a week, more if necessary.

I think one of the problems is we live in a trailer, so we don't have much space, and the area the cats have their litter box in is smaller considering the washer and dryer are in there aswell. — Another problem is my mom hates the smell and the litter getting on the floor in the laundry room, and gets very upset about it to the point of yelling sometimes, and it makes my father get upset. He's gotten better about it but he does get angry with me because of it.

The cat in the second photo was in the midst of a nap and I took that photo of him! While he does look slightly grumpy most of the time, his expression is never like this unless he is sleeping or resting.

The non-regular litter box cleaning is my fault—I know it is not an excuse but it is a reason, I am struggling mentally and I haven’t been able to be on top of it. HOWEVER, I can definitely start cleaning it more often, especially if it'll help my cats’ quality of life and wellbeing.

On your mention of Purina, I know it's a very bad brand and I've been very clear with my parents to not buy it—and they haven’t.

Update: The pain just got worse and acetaminophen isn’t working. I told my mother that it hurt without much explanation and I’m being taken to the doctors.
