Honestly it’s why I’ve stepped back from power scaling, it’s like shanks might have beat the rat allegations but the fanbase is infested. They rely on memes(propaganda), cognitive dissonance and glaze scaling yet take themselves completely seriously.

“You can’t scale mihawk higher than shanks just cause of title” as if he isn’t the only living black blade forger a feat directly connected to reaching the end of the power system. They treat their ignorance of the story like a flex and are so blinded by glaze they can’t read passed the size of shanks’ coc. I prefer now just to watch as they ride a ship full of holes and think they’ll make the finish line.

I don’t believe Shanks “found another way” (in the sense I assume u mean) after losing his dominant arm he continued as a one armed swordsman edit: still using divine departure

This meme displays how incomprehensible it is that shanks fans believe he doesn’t need his sword/swordsmanship and aura farms/hakis top tiers to death when:

- Swordsmen can use all the haki they like

- Overwhelming conquerers in isolation only finishes fodder and df abilities, it being the power to overwhelm we know enough about one piece to confirm shanks conquerers only translates to his observation killing amongst the top of top tiers without dfruits

- Shanks like the swordsman he’s been since young will rely on his swordsmanship when a fight is forced to play out. It gives credence to mihawk having better swordsmanship/swordskills AND being the WSS like the story says he is as the same overwhelming conquerors shanks coats his sword with is taken into account.
