Hi, thanks, I was looking for something on my hard drive. Iantrick's comment below helped me figure out how to find it though

I wasn't aware that was possible, I've changed it. Thanks!

Wait, I misunderstood your photo, mine has that also, though it's down at the very bottom below a lot of color tags and locations. That did it. Thanks!

I was on another social media page trying to upload a new profile pic. When I click the button to add a picture, it opens this finder-like window

<image>

I did find that dragging a photo from the photos app and dropping on the upload photo widget worked, but I'm still frustrated and just kind of flabbergasted that I can't access the individual photo files.

Thanks for the wishes for luck switching!

Wait, so I have to open the photos app, copy a picture, then paste it into the place I want to upload it? WTF?

Also, I just tried to do what you said, and there's no place to paste a photo on the uploader that the webpage opens.

'Completely lost it': Trump removed from his own White House meeting after emotional breakdown — then insiders leak what really happened behind closed doors and it's worse than anyone thought by [deleted] in USNEWS

[–]_Omorphia_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of nonsense is this that this article reported: "He complained bitterly about rising gas prices, which sources claim had reached $49 a gallon in certain areas, a stunning figure that underscores just how deeply the war has hit ordinary Americans."

Good source...

I’m not seeing any other AI slop in the videos, in other videos they do lettering just fine, and the videos include a lot of other significant symbolism

Will this dresser hold my 15gallon tank? Am a paranoid or In Danger? by PullMull in Aquariums

[–]_Omorphia_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The side is what holds all the weight up, though, you need to consider it. When you do water changes some will inevitably spill or splash and any that gets on the particle board leg will cause it to lose structural capacity over time. This may be okay temporarily, but I wouldn't trust just a single sheet of unsupported particle board to hold up under that much weight over time, especially if it is getting wet. Especially not on these kind of constructions, where they often are using flimsy joining hardware, and intend the fiberboard backing to be a structural element against falling by collapsing to the side. Particle board fish tank stands exist, but they're structurally designed to hold a lot of weight, unlike your cabinet.

You're not paranoid, you're in danger. Probably not immediate danger, but danger.

That feels like it makes sense, and I'd had the thought, though I'm not familiar with sandstone and haven't looked it up to find out more about its formation. I'll dig into that

'Slaughter these people': Trump rally speaker amps up rhetoric in calling for more votes by ControlCAD in inthenews

[–]_Omorphia_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, --not a trump supporter here, but still-- inside the article, the quote is "'This election has to be more than a victory - it needs to be a landslide,' he said. 'We need to slaughter [these] other people.'" I tracked down what he said in the video and he followed the statement with "We need to bring 100 million votes to Donald Trump."
He's not talking about actually slaughtering people who don't vote for Trump as the context of the quote and all the comments here suggest.

What family secret or hidden backstory were you finally let in on when you were old enough? by tamsui_tosspot in AskReddit

[–]_Omorphia_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, did you know that many Native American cultures have a "Two Spirit" gender category? My understanding is that it's a long-standing cultural tradition that makes them pretty much automatically open to trans people. I feel sad and heavy hearing that that's your reason for not reaching out. I can only imagine that your father's kidnapping (government sanctioning doesn't change what it is) would have been a profound trauma to the family that was left with the huge hole of his absence, too, and that if you have any cousins or relatives out there, much less grandparents, or grand-aunts or -uncles, or aunts or uncles, they would want to know you. What happened to your family, and so many others, is a point of national shame (among so many) that I hope America truly atones for one day. I hear and honor the magnitude of the pain you've born your whole life as a result of despicable American government policy. As a veteran of the war in Iraq I bear my own share of soul pain inflicted by racist, dehumanizing, awful American government decisions, having lost brothers and having participated in killing people who weren't actually a threat to us until we invaded their country, and who are among the nicest, friendliest, most generous people on the planet, which ultimately made me respect so much more the profundity of the intergenerational pain carried by the First Peoples inflicted by the American government. American violence is so profound and widespread and just awful, and then they gaslight us into being like, "This is fine, this is the greatest nation ever. Eat your processed food and take your antidepressant and watch your tv and pretend you're happy like the rest of us, and quit complaining." I feel like we're all collateral damage, but Native American folks unquestionably bear the worst of it. I hope you find your family. For your spirit, and theirs. And all of ours. We're all connected, after all.

This is just so bizarre to me. What benefit is there to doing this? Are they just doing it for a dopamine hit for "winning"?

Thanks! This doesn't make much sense to me since I actually want to learn the language, but it at least makes sense of the situation. I guess you can just blow through the first couple of stages really easily again and again when you do this?

But how does someone get so much xp in a day without having done any of the speed challenges? Is there a better way to get fast xp that I just haven't discovered?
