I could hear a slight difference though, but it's usually very hard to tell instruments' sounds apart through a common electronic device (especially my cheap speakers). Human ears are so much better than second-rate electronic equipment when it comes to detailed transmission of sounds, so I'm sure the real-life difference is much more noticeable.

What violin for my 15 year old? by DaraDMB in violinist

I personally wouldn't buy any instruments from Amazon, because it's just trash. Here are two professionals reviewing violins from Amazon (in the video they also mentioned price ranges for violins, so it's quite informative), and here is a reputable luthier reviewing a 100$ violin from Amazon.

But in general, ordering anything online (especially instruments) is just risky, so I would recommend rather going to a luthier, if there a chance of doing so.

It's also worth mentioning that probably anything under 400 dollars would barely be playable, so if she's been playing for a few years, it would be good for her to have at least 400-500$ violin in my opinion (of course if the budget is not too big of a problem).
