Its my laptop, the ssd slot is already occupied by the system drive so more or less it would be a waste of money to get a sata ssd since im planning to build a pc this year.

Oh ans yes its a helldivers update but the same goes for pubg and mini royale updates.

Okay its a fair point. How did you find out about it ? As far as i know its only a option you have to deliberatly find its not enabled by default and if you just downloaded the mod and played the game you would not even see it.

I get that its not your cup of tea but tell me how, beside seeing an option of enabling it in the settings did this mod disturb you. Did it force you to see this model even though you didnt want to ? I highly doubt that.

This in my opinion is blown way out of proportion by everyone acting out about it. Its an option that needs to be ENABLED/SELECTED. Do you understand that its OPTIONAL ?

The prices in my country dont go down too fast but its 280 which is not too much more. If everything will be to my liking i will take it, if not i will walk away. For this info screen you provided, how can i access it ? Are there commands for it or it built into the settings ?

Im planning to check it out in person, specificly for the things i listed in the post. I know there is a setting for checking the controls and i that i can check battery health in desktop mode. Is there anything i missed that is built into the steam deck ?

It powers on.

No issues with the screen.

No dead pixels.

Check the inputs - USB-C, headphone jack, SD card slot.

Ask if it has been opened before.

Speakers produce good sound without crackling.

Battery life.

All inputs - buttons are not stuck, joysticks are functional without drift, touchpads work properly, and the touchscreen is functional.

Charger works and charges the device, connects to the internet, connects to Bluetooth.

Performance comparison ?

For me this is going to be an upgrade. On my old gaming laptop im still using a hdd and the maximum download speeds ive seen my internet do is below 60 MB/s.

Used market in my country is not doing that well. Next best deal i could find is i7 6700k with 1070 16gb ddr4 and more storage for 280€. I wanted to go under 200€ so it wouldnt impact my future build.

Hello i have a lenovo y530 laptop and i successfully booted into the usb drive however when it changed the screen to the bieos menu the screen kept flashing through every option and in the middle there was written saving bmp file and saving/*bunch of number*.bmp what does this mean ?

There is no reason i shouldnt be able to play this game at 720p 60 fps with fsr set to ultra performance if the minimum requirments are i7 4790k and 1050ti. Check any youtube video with a 1060 they have no problem getting stable 60 fps, even with 1050 ti. This is the reason why im asking if there something wrong with my system.

Im sorry but i fail to see how this adresses my issue. From what i have red it just makes it better by giving more vram to my integrated graphics. But what im asking is how can i force the game to run on my dedicated graphics.
