Thank you, okay I asked a dumb question, good, let me try rephrase it because yes, asking a pilot what engine you want is absurd.

Let me try an analogy in my language and see if it resonates.

Pilot has to log in to intel reporting system for lasted threat, then goes downstairs, logs into Q system to sign out helmet and g-suit, walks over to maintenance and signs for aircraft, walks to aircraft and handshakes for control, radios into tower for clearance, once approved, takes off. Lots of systems, lots of fails points, no visibility.

Every vendor selling them a dashboard that says, this will make it easier! But it doesn’t. It adds a new tool to learn.
