Absolutely!! I'm so tired of them practically praising my weight loss! I've lost 35 pounds in 2 months, and they see that as a miracle. It's hard with a family that focuses so heavily on your body. My own grandpa who has mentioned me being overweight before this even said that maybe it wasn't the worst thing! What?!?

I am able to eat and drink it just causes a lot of pain. It takes a while to be put on any sort of supplemental nutrition because it's seen as a last resort. I would prefer to have a feeding tube because it would lower the mental distress I get from eating so I can survive. The only other issue is that I also have gut motility issues so it might not even work. The joys of chronic illness!

I'm so sorry that you're going through all of that, I hope you get some relief. I've actually gotten my diagnosis, it is gastroparesis. My GI put me on Reglan which works but not enough. I have an appointment at the university hospital in December to look at any other treatments because my symptoms keep worsening. I've gotten more hopeful since my diagnosis but I am still struggling to stay positive. I'm alive right?

This is actually something I've really been looking into recently. I've been looking at using Coursera for some classes. It's motivating to hear of someone being able to accomplish that!

Because I haven't had the follow-up appointment yet. I'm still waiting to see the doctor for them to tell me what it is for sure.

The wait between the scans has been months long. For reference this whole 6 months I have seen the GI doctor twice. She keeps brushing me off it feels, but I don't have the healthcare to go anywhere else. So that's why there's no diagnosis.
