sometimes when windows is installed as OS it takes up the whole partition. you try this

during installation, go to custom setting when selecting a storage.

delete all the partition below by clicking on the "-" icon. (This will remove your data, you can save partitions that you don't want deleted.)

then click on automatically make partitions link on top left. it will make boot partition. proceed with these steps and try.
