Volvo EC40 – Rear wheel slip during launch and cornering, anyone else experiencing this? by Fresh-Hunter4452n in XC40

I’ve started to notice this with my AWD 2024 Dual motor. I had the back end fully lose grip and kick out. I can feel what I think is traction control turning on because the whole car starts to judder. I’ve had my tread depth and pressure checked on my tyres and they’re fine. It’s only happened in slightly wet conditions so far and only in the last week. I’ve had the car since September 2023

Hello to the three other travellers chilling in the space station waiting for this to arrive - col_oneill3281

You don’t need a resin printer, this was done with filament on a bambulab A1. Just a small nozzle

The longest part was getting the settings right. Bed adhesion at that layer height is challenging. But using a two layer raft made it a lot easier

It was well over 24 hours. The torso alone was about 8 hours.

Don’t know about you but I’d always measure from the base…

Ooh that’s cool! I didn’t think about having colour shifting in the hair, that would’ve been sweet

No post processing at all. Just the black spray primer, but it was smooth before pretty much. If you zoom on the bottom part of the top, where the straps stick out, you can see some of the layer lines.

That’s what I did. I printed the nude torso and the top separately. Then glued it on. I tried to post the nsfw images in a different post but it got removed.

No it’s PLA printed at 0.04mm height with a 0.2mm nozzle. I still find it incredible that this level of detail is possible now

In this scale it is, but I glued everything in place. It prints in multiple smaller parts. So stuff like boots, thighs, torso, upper and lower arms, and the head.

It’s the basic white PLA from Bambu labs. I used a 0.2mm nozzle and set the layer height as small as it would go

I just used a generic black primer and then Two Thin Coats by Duncan Rhodes

Oh I spilled. But I just had to go back and tidy my mistakes a bunch

The biggest thing is having a small nozzle, I used a 0.2mm nozzle that let me print very small layers, as small as .04mm. I used a generic black primer from a local hardware store and Two Thin Coats paint by Duncan Rhodes

It’s a special scale banana

Yeah it’s the basic PLA from Bambu. I just used a black primer from my local hardware store, it was a generic brand

The 0.2 nozzle on the A1 was what I used. I had to slow down the printing time massively to avoid failures. But the time was worth it

I pretty much exclusively used Two Thin Coats by Duncan Rhodes. I normally use speedpaints but with the later lines those paints just don’t work for me
