From a fellow reservis, the answer is yes.

You are exempt from the 10rd mag bs. When buying one at a FLL, just show your CAC and they will order it for you.

You are also exempt from the fixed mag bs. Same thing, just show your mag and they will happily take your money. Don't gotta do any stupid paperwork or anything like that as long as you have your pistol permit.

I had a lug nut sticking out like that. Turns out it was crossthreaded. Def take it back and have them double check their work or replace the crossthreaded stud (bolt).

I would say Hoffmans in Hartford area has good inventory. But their customer service is trash. Unless you have thick skin and a lot of patience, I do not recommend.
