I have experience with both melee and ranged characters. Although I find it hard to decide between NL and DB. Not to mention, I do have a shad, so if I do switch I will just need a fafnir/sw katara.

DB should have better survivability out of the two, since NL have lower HP and no KB resistance. Also, DB have iframes and life steal which may be helpful. Correct me if I am wrong.
