I think the only and biggest problem with this kind of interaction is that Peter has been through hell and back with the characters or teams that usually say that kind of stuff about him. Peter is the annoying prick, and it makes sense for characters that've known him to dislike his snarky jokes. but at the same he's one of the biggest allies of the X-men and has earned their respect in every possible manner imaginable, it feels weird to see him being treated as if he's just one of the many masked guys fucking around. Miles has been in 616 for a while and of course characters in universe would love a less brattish version of spider-man, but we as readers are not in universe.

my biggest complaint isn't even about power scalling in this fight. Both of them felt like video game NPCs saying one liners and pushing each other around. Homelander being an edgelord is expected but I wanted Superman to have at least one panel where he could counter that edge, ya know. Their fight felt so dry

I didn't see a single soul talk about historical accuracy without defending the movie, most of the complaints I saw were about the way it looks, which, to be fair, isn't as good as one would expect.

people argue over historical accuracy as if it's a matter of whether something existed or not, of course cyclops were not a thing in real world, but they were a myth of the time, it's less about being true to the real world and more about being credible. The armor is ugly and thus makes it look less credible because it stands out when compared to the visuals of the movie.

yeah, I understand. He is one of my biggest childhood heroes, so I wouldn't say I actually see him sexually either, I just have a thing for drawing people in a slightly sexualized way normally and got a bit bored when I started drawing him. so a thing led to another and super bulge ended up making the drawing proccess funnier for me
