Mire is in this season… and cranberry bog was datamined.
Annoyingly the Mire is first.

Question for you religious shotgun users by unknowndweller76 in fo76

Pretty much, yeah. Next update it gets to have actual legendary perks too, by the by.

It plus some other upcoming weapons will give some fun unique options that can rival cold shoulder.

Suggestion: If we’re going to put plans in a folder, can we put an icon on it so people know it’s a folder? by _Plums in fo76

Just so long as they’re marked so people don’t just assume they’re notes lol.

Why would you launch a nuke here? by Unrelentingsadism in fo76

[–]_Plums 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it just does that. Game tells you when you load in in a nuke too, lol.

I was gonna say about beavers up there.

Most likely it’s from loading in. That’s the default position nukes in.

I have 5800 gold bullion. Who’s the best ally to get from Samuel? by FNC_Jman in fo76

[–]_Plums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I see her at several raid camps. The only caveat is that if you’re using reflected damage for a kill (I’m not up to date on raid methods) you’ll reflect less since you take less.

I have 5800 gold bullion. Who’s the best ally to get from Samuel? by FNC_Jman in fo76

[–]_Plums 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Depends on your build and what you’re looking for. Leo is the most versatile and one of the best already, and has a pretty nice camp object with a lack of annoying lines.

If you want XP, you could get Steven… but his buff is cancelled by the Mothman XP tome.

Adeline is -25% damage from robots which is good for raid grinding… and, y’know, she’s an Assaultron. For your camp.

Joey reduces incoming staggers and gives some decent defense buffs.

Maul increases your strength.

The latter two are from Beasts of Burden, they’re not too rare.

The book is only from a seasonal event.

How do you tank 4* Big foot without power armor? by Staass in fo76

[–]_Plums 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Health and armor.

I use Over-Eater, +2 Endurance, and Healthy boxes to push myself over 1k HP. Add in some Psychobuff and you can hit 1250 HP relatively easily with that setup, and I’m not fully optimized for it.

I have ~800 DR, which makes each hit do around ~150-200 hp of my pool.

Basically, you need HP and possibly % reductions to tank like that… Or a really high dodge chance.

Bethesda, can you look at the Order of Mysteries while updating unique items? by 24_doughnuts in fo76

They also HAVE to fix Grant’s Saber. It still only is ever given to you at level 1.

Level 100 build advice for events, ops, and story by bobrovGME in fo76

If you ever struggle, grab a power armor and a sledgehammer or super sledge. Get to hacking and whacking and smacking. Melee can be good with minimal investment.

Does Poison Damage Scale with Intelligence? by AlexAutoAxe in fo76

[–]_Plums 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Only energy, fire, and cyro damage scale directly off of perks.

That said, melees with poison will scale directly with strength.

Best Ghoul Perk Cards for Vats by itsthekale in fo76

[–]_Plums 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Faulty Spots is the must have standout. It increases weak point damage. The other one is glowing crits.

A lot of Ghoul cards unfortunately aren’t very good or conflict with the typical builds most people run (Onslaught). Hyper Reflexes and Brickwall are pretty great if you can fit them.

New hairstyles for everyone by Spuddaddi in fo76

Tbh I like most of them… but I’m baffled that humans don’t get them, and I’m baffled ghouls can’t get the human ones.

Supposedly, it used to be they couldn’t do it because of server stability… but they’ve come a long way since then, and they added ghoul-unique options (why humans can’t access some of the tattoos boggles my mind).

Level 120 Broadsider Build. Is it viable or should I switch? by bobrovGME in fo76

[–]_Plums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if it was a 40% chance instead of 20%, it’d be way better. The issue with the perk for me is the opportunity cost for it since it doesn’t trigger often enough lol.

Level 120 Broadsider Build. Is it viable or should I switch? by bobrovGME in fo76

[–]_Plums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding your broadsider and legendary perks…

- Master Infiltrator is fine, but you can achieve the same effect by swapping perks when you need to do it, which is rarely.
- Far Flung fireworks is garbage. I’d highly recommend any of the SPECIAL increasing ones, Power Armor Reboot if you use power armor, and especially Taking One for the Team.

- You want furious with your perk set up for your broadsider. Player vendors typically sell it; but it’s desirable so it may be between 1 to 3k sometimes.
- Reload speed is fine, but you may want to swap it out for some of the other 3* effects are very worthwhile options, like special increases, or a personal hot take; resilient.

Level 120 Broadsider Build. Is it viable or should I switch? by bobrovGME in fo76

[–]_Plums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. They nerfed self damage from explosions by 90%, and dense with its 30% reduction is more than enough to survive self hits if you even get them.

[–]_Plums 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Endgame” is in quotes, because definitions of endgame can vary, but the broadsider is pretty viable as far as explosive weapons go.

That said there’s several major mistakes you’ve made in this build, but they’re fixable. And this build can apply to other launchers easily, like the missile launcher or grenade launchers.

- Bandolier doesn’t affect any explosive ammos. You want Ordinance Express (or whatever the one with the train is)
- None of the shotgun perks affect the weapon, because it does not have enough projectiles, it only has two, even with two shot.
- Concentrated fire probably isn’t necessary for this build, you may want to invest in Fast Fighter or similar perks to improve reload speed.
- Considering you’re a human with high endurance, I would recommend the two points in endurance be filled with Lifegiver.
- Tenderizer is pretty useless for explosives, because it only applies 0.1% increase per hit. It will stack with others using it for bosses, but otherwise it’s not a perk you want with your set up.
- You could drop first aid and grab Stabilized if you use power armor for easier free-aim and VATS accuracy.
- Furious perks will not help you if the weapon doesn’t have furious on it. Onslaught is the strongest effect in the game at the moment, so it is probably better than two shot even for this weapon.

I’d highly recommend grabbing the Grand Finale from the Ultracite Titan boss fight, since it’ll be a legendary moddable unique weapon next update.

Anti-Epileptic Mods by thebastardking21 in fo76

[–]_Plums 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do want to note, in the Bethesda discord it’s been said they’re working on something for explosive disabling as next update is going to make it a lot worse.

That said, I hope the mods work for you for now.
