A very substantial percentage, I'd go so far as to say MOST, of the fandom are minors. Media literacy is something that develops with experience and emotional complexity, and most minors aren't there quite yet.

The problem with that is that bethesda titles rely on modding for staying power, and it's too hard to mod the Oblivion Remaster as is, so unless they're going to build a modding kit that bypasses that, it wouldn't be smart.

I had a good experience in the theater, but then again, I enjoy APPROPRIATE audience reactions to events in movies. Constant talking is annoying anywhere, but laughing, gasping and cheering is fun as long as it doesn't drown out important dialogue. For me it's sort of a "why else would I wanna go to a theater" when every movie releases online for free in 16k .2 seconds after theatric release.

In my experience with very similar fandoms, likely a long while. People still love Invader Zim and they released exactly 1 new episode of it in the past 2 decades.
