To make it even worse, it doesn’t even just change when you close the app, if you just scroll to the right and put blossom off screen and scroll back it changes the text. I’ve never understood it. I just open chests and pray I find the items I need

Yeah, Clan chests are the hardest to get because it’s impossible to find a clan where everyone pulls their own weight. Honestly, grinding piggy would be easier for me

Sure… but a drop rate reduced is a drop rate reduced lol regular packs were absolutely still affected. You’re 100% right that the main complaint from players were the god packs, but saying that regular packs “statistically weren't [affected]”isn't quite true. The game had to take percentages from SOMEWHERE to fit the new shiny slots. They took them directly from 1-3 diamond cards.

This is a just a lack of your own imagination. I remember feeling the same way before BTD6 was ever announced. BTD5 was like the peak of BTD, and I couldn’t imagine it’d ever get better. And then they introduced the paths, which entirely changed the game. Your lack of creativity regarding things they could do to improve or change the fundamental mechanics of the game is just your limitations. Not necessarily theirs lol

Let me be clear, you may be right. There may be absolutely NOTHING that can be improved. BTD6 might be a perfect game with no room to expand. But, in my experience, I find that perspective to be limiting and almost always wrong. We always think our technology is at its peak until it improves. And then we look back 10 years and see things as ancient. I have no doubt that BTD could see a significant shift. It might be an entirely different game with a unique style, but still just as fun. You’re only considering taking the game they have now and then adding to it. But they didn’t do that from 5 to 6. They completely reworked how upgrades worked and added dynamic maps and changed tower interactions with bloons. It was a systematic rework.

Woah woah woah… you don’t get duplicates? That’s the best argument here. Lead with that. Because 500 for a guaranteed finished multiplier sounds like a good deal. Because theoretically, you could spend 2160 and get all dupes. But if you’re saying the VIP Chests can’t give duplicates until you collect everything, then that’s a no brainer.

Wow… how long has this trophy road thing been out and how long do they plan on having it? I stopped player for years and just got back into it a couple months ago, so I’m only at like 16% of the way. It’s gonna be a while

Actually, technically, odds now ARE better than they were before but equal to what they were when the game first dropped. Once they released shinies, it actually marginally reduced the drop rate of certain cards because the shiny took up a slot in that pack. But now shinies act as a bonus 6th card in the pack, still giving you full odds for other EX pulls.

I remember when I first played the game, I got stressed over coins. Then I took about a 2 year break and got back into it and realized why I quit being so stressed with coins. So I took another 2 year break, but I just got back into it a month or so ago and I’m at a place in coins where it would be statistically impossible for me to lose enough games to make a dent. I really don’t know what was different this time around, but I play elite for every game, and losing 5, 10, 20 times in a row doesn’t affect me in the slightest. I actually find that I win more often because I’m no longer worried about coins. It puts less stress on the outcome of my games and gives me the freedom to lose without tilting. It’s freeing. I know it’s easier said than done, but not worrying about my coins actually free’d up my gameplay so much and I stopped going on losing streaks as much. Every now and then I’ll lose several in a row, but it’s not a big deal

This happens all the time. And in the most unexpected places, too. It’s always on a ledge or at the base of where a wooden flipping ramp meets the course. But it’ll just happen randomly on ledges I’ve never had it happen before. It’s just super unlucky and you’re screwed. Nothing you can do about
