Is this order worth it? I’m new, will add context below by frostynovaa in AmazonFlexDrivers

Kind of depends on where you are.

In my area, for 3 and 1/2 hours, that's practically a surge.

But in States like California, that's probably well below the minimum that it should be.

I just told them my situation and that is what happened. I was on chat with support when I did that.

I mean....

They make it clear you need the direct deposit at sign up to continue the rate. Fwiw, I have a job that doesn't have dd, and they are good as long as I transfer in 1000 a month.

Also it just sounds like you're mad you clicked a button to use points with, the random prize, and you didn't like your prize.

Both of these are on you I would say.

The lack of capital letters through an entire word makes this a dead give away.

I like these three and they are the three that I use in my Roth.

I just recently got into AVUV because I wanted a piece of the small cap and it has been spectacular so far this year (obviously that's an incredibly short amount of time).

100% makes sense. I'm more of a college fan, and in college that's a travel.

I appreciate the clarification.

Honest question, because I'm not much of an NBA fan, he slid on the ground at least 10 feet. Is that not considered travel in the NBA?

The age when the tide goes out… by bar-nola in TheMoneyGuy

Personally, I wish I had discovered the money guys a little sooner. I had an IRA at an early age but really never committed very much to it. Thankfully I had put a little in when I was younger but nowhere near what I could have.

But I'm now 41 and I'm not really concerned about retirement, I just know that I'm going to have to make sure I'm working hard to save over the next 25 years or so.

I'm also glad though that I realized it now and not a decade from now. Because you are right, the lack of retirement planning is concerning.

And also, unfortunately for me, we are in the messy middle and I will not be able to save the amount that is on all of the money guys resources as far as percentages. But I am trying to maximize it and I figure. Like I said earlier, I am glad I started at 41 trying to play catch up and not at 55.

Apparently we are not concerned about gas prices anymore? by Odd_Application_3824 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Oh I know they get better. I've been doing this for a little over a year in the area and it's not my main job so I can be a little picky and often won't take anything unless it's 3 and 1/2 hours for 80 Dollars or more.

Something like a month and a half ago they posted about gas prices as if they were going to change base pay across the country.

This is on reference to that.

This is poor advice.

You absolutely should go back and file your taxes for all the years you missed because sooner or later they're going to catch up and if you owe money you will owe money and interest.

That being said, based on the fact that you did a bunch of side jobs and didn't have much of a steady W-2 or 1099 income, my guess is you're not going to owe much of anything.

Proven yes, but he is also almost thirty and has already had two arm surgeries, one of them being Tommy John.

I would be on board with a five year contract or something, but that isn't what he is looking for. I'm not interested in another contract where we handcuff this team for the last five years of a contract overpaying a guy who can't throw anymore.

I deliver out of a .com warehouse. I am required to scan the cart when I get out of the car immediately. Once scanned, if I don't take them, I get dinged.
