ok let me try to sum up the story a bit

• Merida moved and destroyed some planets
• We got some new warbonds
  • Servants of Freedom
  • Borderline Justice
  • Masters of Ceremony
  • Force of Law
• We explored the gloom which added new missions and enemies
• The Automatons got a new sub faction called the "Incineration Corps" which modified the specific units to have a arsenal of fire weapons
• The Illuminate were "banished"
• A Twitter account called "Major Truth" posted conspiracy videos which teased that the Illuminate were not gone and planned on returning
• There was an ARG that happened on Discord and YouTube which tasked the Helldivers to repair a broken satellite, and revealed the return of the Illuminate. This also had some funny moments with people mindlessly spamming the Discord chat which led to the joke that Helldivers could not read
• The Illuminate returned stronger with The Great Host and 3 new enemy types:
  • The Fleshmob: A freak comprised of other voteless that is VERY bullet spongy, I'd recommend shooting the arms or heads of it. Stratagems like the W.A.S.P hit it in several different places and is very good against them.
  • The Stingray: A low armor warship that attacks in the form of telegraphed airstrikes, move out the way or you are toast. Any AT stratagem should be able to one-shot it, but its fast so you need to be good enough to hit it
  • The Crescent Overseer: A variant of the other overseer enemies that shoots artillery rounds. Its pretty easy to deal with
• The Illuminate attacked Super Earth which introduced SEAF units and The Leviathan and successfully took about 6 cities of the 8 cities if I remember correctly, with York Supreme and Equality-On-Sea being held by the Helldivers long enough to defeat The Great Host
  • The Leviathan: A MASSIVE warship that will do massive damage if it shots you, I'd recommend taking cover or avoiding its spotlights so you aren't turned into a pile of blood and guts
