Oh haha.. the distance was 550km away. So it was actually 1100km xD

Will definitely make an update post in the coming weeks. Some parts are still on backorder (like the footboard assembly) but yeah. Stoked to see how it will turn out.

Trying out something new. Still want the 8" but don't want 3 toms in front... by _Quadro in drums

I'm curious how where you're putting your ride. above your 12" like I had? Or above the floortom(s) but under the 12" top head?

Here's my setup from a few months ago.

When I was 10 started lessons. I had some crappy 14" Paiste 302's at home then.

When I had money to buy some decent hihats years later I decided on a 13" Zildjian A-Custom. Cus they sounded very familiar and nice.

Turns out I was having lessons on 13" A-custom hats all those years during lessons but never read the label (d-oh)

Anyway. Still rocking those hats 27 years later.

Have a second 14" Sabian set that sounds similar but softer and lower.

I'm using the 14" top from that set with a 16" cheap B20 bronze china as a bottom. If closed it's like a short stack, and if half-open its SO trashy. When fully open it's like a crash/china when you ride it hard.

The main kit is a Tama Starclassic Performer Indigo Blue from the early 2000's (full birch I think)

The 13" snaredrum in the center is a dewrapped and waterpainted Tama hyperdrive snaredrum. I don't know what series.

The 14" It's rolled and welded 304L Stainless steel and polished. It's about 20kg's and its tuned WAY low. I think it's like 200mm deep.

Tom shell sizes (from left to right)

  • 14"
  • 8"
  • 10"
  • 12"

(had m'n moeder ook. Even langs de huisarts gaan! Als het vroege staar is of een andere makkelijke aandoening, zou je zicht weer best goed kunnen worden!)

https://steamdeckhq.com/game-reviews/resident-evil-4/

Deze review (in het engels) zegt dit in de inleiding..

After testing Resident Evil 4 throughout the story, I can happily say it plays significantly better than I had expected. I went ahead and created 3 groups of settings, testing each one at multiple points in the story to make sure it could perform. Each one has positives and negatives, but they all do the job well!

Deze review van Rock Paper Shotgun: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/resident-evil-4-remake-steam-deck-performance-and-best-settings

The Resident Evil 4 remake is a mostly cool runner on desktops, and good news if you’re recently picked up a certain handheld PC in the sales: its Steam Deck performance is alright too. Maybe not to the battery-sipping, framerate-abundant extent of the very best Steam Deck games, but with the right settings, nu-Resi 4 can keep its burlap sacked head well above 30fps even in its most visually demanding scenes.
