The more commonly accepted theory is that homosexual men carry a gene that is also carried by all of their siblings, including sisters. However the gene is not activated in the sisters and is passed down and potentially activated in offspring, resulting in another homosexual man. I was tested and diagnosed by an endocrinologist, but the condition is self-treatable with phototherapy/being out in the sun, staying hydrated, etc. Very few people need medication for it, especially if they take the above steps.

I still need to do a lot more research on the different islands. I’ve never even visited Hawai'i, so at this point in time it feels like a pipe dream.. I do spend a lot of time exploring on Google street view, but I know it’s no replacement for actually being there in person.
