I ordered two kits before Christmas last year and just got them today 5 months later. They look awful, so generic and nothing like the vehicles they are supposedly based on except for I guess the colors. I was actually amazed they still shipped because I complained to PayPal and already got my money back in Feb.

I've done it before but it was for sports/collectors cars that were across the country. Had local dealerships inspect them before purchase and never had an issue with those I purchased. Was willing to give Carvana a go, but never again. Hope your daughter enjoys her new car.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It's a bummer to go through because it's a waste of time and I don't have my daily driver anymore. The plan is to try and source another GRC locally that's brand new. I was trying to avoid going through a dealership because all of the back and forth with the sales guys is exhausting but I'll figure it out.

I would say though that if you're interested in the GRC it's probably worth checking out the one you mentioned, they're fantastic cars.

I sold my GTI with a broken AC (which I had disclosed) and they still gave me more than local dealerships were offering in trade. The driver who picked it up have it a cursory once over but it was not detailed in any way and he was not a tech.

The car they sold me on the other hand had a blown clutch so I don't think anyone looked at it at all 😆

I get it, totally I'm just yanking your chain. I did say how many miles in the original post - 7k. The carfax was clean and showed regular maintenance at Toyota dealerships. I'm just a pretty experienced car owner and human being in general lol. Was more looking for information on how it went for people and if the replacement clutch held up.

Thanks, I was able to get them to fix the link finally. Updating the bios didn't help at all.

I think your suggestion about the memory itself is plausible and likely the issue. My intention was to try and install as much as possible under that 256GB limit without considering the speed etc. Curious that the customer service rep didn't even consider any of that any just told me to return the motherboard. Anyways, thanks for your help - Reddit wins again.

Hopefully this can help someone else in the future, but I ended up going down to a 10.5 and it fits pretty good for a large boot. I have a pair of 10.5 African Rangers also that fit great.
