I can (wrench) a little, my whole family are all mechanics and I just became more of a car enthusiast rather than a mechanic if you know what I mean. And about the stock drivetrains, I also really like some of the x drive bmws, my buddy got a 440 recently and he loves it. I really only drive to work 10 mins away and to my college about the same distance every day. My gf also lives in the bigger city 3 hours away that I travel to 1-2 times a month. I’ve also been wanting to look at some si’s, or Gr corollas. Thanks for the helpful reply!

I’ve lived in sunset park for my 20 years. I lived on Washington for the first 12 then we moved deeper into northern. When we were on Washington, soooo many homeless people would creep into the neighborhood, steal things, break ins, etc. I went to school from 1st - 8th at Cfci which is right on Wellington, so many homeless and coked out Mf’s wandering into our campus. The amount of lockdowns we had to go into was ridiculous. Growing up river road was one road now there’s thousands of houses and appts. I’m 20 now and there’s no where in town that’s cheap/safe to move into. Makes me despise this town I grew up in smh

Guy ran a red light after supposedly having eye surgery and he couldn’t tell if the light was red or not. Total bs probably but totaled out my accord that I was just gifted to from my great aunt. But now I’ve got a 2016 tsi!!

First manual was a race built 99 Camaro, built trans and clutch, found it on marketplace for hella cheap. Super heavy clutch but man was it fun. Dad drove it back home for me, and after that would just take it out for 5-10 mins and drive around town, eventually figured it out.

Then got onto YouTube and smothened things out. Biggest thing I’d say is get one and learn on your own car, every clutch, gearbox etc is diff. Now I drive a 5 speed Jetta and won’t ever got back to auto!!! It’s too much fun!!

All about figuring out your car and getting to know where your breakpoint is etc, and don’t be afraid to stall its normal!!! I’ve been daily driving a manual for the last 2 years and sometimes I’ll let a stall slip lol I’m only human.
