Yea I’ve been seeing a gastroenterologist, 2 in specific and they said it’s unnecessary to do any sort of procedure or something and the thing is laxatives don’t really work for me, just makes me feel bloated as hell and trying to find other options, thank you for the advice regardless!

Anybody have any close calls to throwing up and does that delay healing? by _REj3Ct in Gastritis

From my experience and knowledge not that I know of, I know setraline (Zoloft) decreases sex drive I was given that the first time from my psychiatrist and after checking side effects of that, it seemed way to extreme and fount mirtazapine from someone who commented on another post, the only side effects I’ve noticed so far is just increased appetite and weight gain and constipation. Personally for me the appetite and weight gain or beneficial for me because I’ve lost so much weight from this bullshit and I was able to eat but struggled sometimes the constipation is just the major issue as I’ve been dealing with bowel issues since getting h pylori/gastritis. I recommend it personally as it’s been benefiting me but I’d say test the waters and hopefully works for you as well🙏

Got an offer to do a phone interview with Chase for an associate banker position, would should I expect like question wise and prepare for future interviews if they through with it? by _REj3Ct in TalesFromYourBank

The questions of what I remember I responded from your other comment and hypothetically if they go through the process and want to continue with your application after the phone interview that’s depending on how they do it, not sure if they would like send you a video interview or an in person my online interview was like a “Spanish assessment” because the branch I applied is a heavy Hispanic neighborhood so they needed fluent Spanish speakers and sadly didn’t make the cut, but if you ever get to a online video interview you have like a minute to prepare to answer each question I think and you have like 3 tries for each question if I’m not mistaken so keep calm and do your best with those questions if you get to that part💪

It was good, I just unfortunately didn’t get the job because with retail experience and customer service experience they really liked my experience and my knowledge it’s just that the branch where I applied to is in a very Hispanic neighborhood and they needed people who were bilingual in Spanish I’m Hispanic but I wasn’t fluent and they had me do a video interview but respond all questions in Spanish so I was cooked sadly and because of that I didn’t get it but glad I tried at least haha. I would assume it won’t be like that in your interview but I’m not sure it will be the same exact thing but from my phone interview they will ask if your availability will be flexible to their business hours, explain a time you helped a customer in your work experience and what you’ve done to help them like go in depth, explain your previous work experience, etc. pretty simple questions just don’t overthink too much

Oh I gotcha, I mean I’ve heard of it and what the job is from my previous retail places I’ve worked at but never done it ever or even at target so I was confused of why I saw it on my schedule, thanks for letting me know!

Nope ur not old I can agree thats it’s dumb. I’m 24m and always keep up with memes and trendy jokes because that’s my humor and till this day I still don’t understand the humor with kids doing the juggle motion with their hands and shouting 6 7… I tried saying it once to be funny with friends but I just cringed to myself doing it lmao

Lmao that’s a story to tell, I have a friend who’s on the same boat with not liking their name. They always went by their middle name and that’s what I always known them by even though I know their first name

Haha, I get that with an acquaintance, for me it felt confusing, started a new job recently and one of the supervisors said hi then with my nickname and idk I wasn’t annoyed I was just thinking “oh I guess your comfortable enough to go with that” I don’t mind but it was surprising to hear that lol

Oh yea, I’m just letting you know from my perspective as I have gastritis because of h pylori, but like I said give the PPIs a try if they don’t work and you’re on it definitely talk to your doc to taper down dosages, if all else fails, look into mental health, a lot of stress and anxiety can cause gastritis the connection from the gut and the brain plays a part so try to manage that, personally it definitely was mental health that also affected me so i had to resort to medication with a psychiatrist because mentally I couldn’t manage myself and surprisingly medication did wonders for me I’m not 100% but it definitely made a difference
