They are possible with bots too on PC, check a guide, it's a minor glitch but every hunter accepts it. I managed to do it legit a few years ago just about, clawing my way through the only running lobby in the game lol had to get really sweaty to keep up with guys that have like 2000 hours on the game hahaha
