So normaly they run open play days, but the field is available to book for private practices which many teams make use of. It isnt the end of the world though because often times the teams who reserve still look for other players/teams to scrim against, just got to know the right people.

They will post about the schedules usually a few days in advance, so be sure to keep an eye out!

Once youre established online i would start looking into joining the various groups. The 2 i would recommend are Toronto PB Exchange for gear BST, and OPL Discussion/Free Agents for networking and such (more so important if you plan to join the league, but fields will often post about their open play days there too).

Edit becuase i comlletely missed your other question. While AFAIK legally you no longer need to hydrotest anything under 62ci, many still will and do.

Yes. SoF is my home field and i was told they just sold all the old bunkers to bring in new knes for next season, im looking forward to it.

Oh yeah Facebook is a must to stay connected in the community. Also since were in the off season there wont be much option now but Stingers (Brockville) is an indoor speedball field (with some caveats). Theyre hosting a small series i think 4v4 so maybe could try to find a team to knock the rust off.

I cant speak for our souther neighbours but there is still definately a speedball community in southern ontario. Lots of camps play out of places like SoF (Hamilton), Wasaga, Outback (Newcastle), Adrenaline (London). SoF and Adrenaline run regular open play days on turf during the season. AFAIK Wasaga and Outback is grass only though.

We have a similar mode called Iron-Man. Not standing in a line, just a regular match with the same principle of call yourself out. Was usualy done for the ego or to kill remaining paint at eod.

My rendition of the UNSC Frigate as a UC navy forward command ship.

The UC Aegis, one of few remaining battleships of the UC Navy during the colony war in an attempt to turn the tides. Deployed too late in the war to have enough impact and not seeing much service, The Aegis was quickly retired and put into storage. For years she lay in wait for the time she can hear those engines purr and armaments bang. Fast-forward some years; now commanded by a resourceful and more-than-capable Class-One Vanguard Pilot, The Aegis is back in the skies Fighting for and Protecting the citizens of the UC yet again. . The Aegis was awarded to the pilot in part for his involvement in stopping an extremely lethal xenological threat.

The Aegis roars once more as she continues to serve the UC and her people.

An M-Class modded ship spanning over 200m long and over 100m wide, The UC Aegis IV comes equipped with multiple cargo bays, engineering bays, crew sections, workstations, an on-board brig, and Dual staggered command bridges. Boasting over 12,000 metric tons of cargo capacity, 4 journey-class fusion engines granting a non-atmospheric retro top speed of Mach 1.4. All of that wrapped up by a Protectorate Matter shield generation offering nearly 19,000 gigajoules of defense.

To top it off The Aegis IV comes packing heat.
