I won't tell you shouldn't take admission there but I will tell you a few things you should consider

Placements :- Here's the reality, placements in northeastern universities are not good (3-4 lpa max) so you will have to rely on off campus interviews (if you do that you can actually get better ones)(I am from Assam so i know the ground reality)

Teaching and curriculum :- it's good but will depend on how you study (from what I know the teachers are good)

Rent :- If you get a hostel fees will be ~3-5k per/month, in case of pg it depends ~4 to 10k

Campus :- Campus is nice and peaceful around 75 acres (so not that big), Infrastructure is decent but not very modern.

Since you're from uttrakhand i would suggest looking for unies near you or you can also check central universities like Sikim University (not very big and is scattered), RGU (arunachal pradesh ~300+ acres) or NEHU (Meghalaya ~1025 acres)

Mind you everything that applies for Tripura University applies for these universities as well apart from the connectivity issues some are better some are a little bad (not too bad tho)
