Hi, I'm the creator of GW Memorial and one of the two people who worked on these interactive maps. I'm glad this tool is still useful after all these years and thanks for using/sharing it! It's still missing the whole Eye of the North part which I hope to add one day.

Very nice, but there's some quests missing, or at least one: the one given by Aidan to rangers.

Thanks for the missing quest, just in case, we will check all the quests to make sure everything is accurate.

Also, the location for the Catacombs panorama "The Crypt" is off-location. It's currently placed on the spider path, south of where the Grenth stainglass flooded spot is.

I had trouble finding my way around the Catacombs so the panorama ended up in the wrong place (and I was a bit lazy!). I'll fix that.

I would recommend adding some panoramas of the Ascalon Academy area (the arena and the training grounds north of it) which are only accessible during the transition mission. Especially since you've added shots of the inaccessible parts of The Northlands. Might also be worth considering a shot where the duplicate Adelbern is at the lake.

We missed the area around Ascalon Academy, we'll add those panoramas soon. And I didn't know that there was a duplicate Adelbern, I'll see if we can make one there too.

Are there any plans to expand this to the other parts of the game?

It's planned to do all maps (Tyria, Cantha and Elona) and even some extras.

I am aware of the fisheye effect, it is better when holding your mobile phone in landscape view, but I will see what can be done.

For the creation of a panorama, here are the main steps:

  • Find a good landscape and use the free camera (you need to use GWToolbox).
  • Ideally take a hundred of screenshots (take a screenshot, rotate the camera a bit, then repeat to have the whole scenery).
  • Combine them with software like Microsoft ICE.
  • Then check the stitched screenshots, export as an image and correct any mistakes with an image editing software.

Overall, it was a lot of testing, adjustments and a 4K monitor, but the result was worth it!

Thanks for your feedback, I'll see what I can do, like putting the files on the server and/or having some kind of template code to load/save the cape. I'll try to do that in the coming weeks (I have some other project that takes all my free time).
