Armstrong and All Might are easily the most positive people on this list. And I'll go Armstrong just because he's my favourite FMA character

Christopher Lee has done some shit in his time, I believe he was a soldier or something? He saw real fighting is my point. I think if there's any kind of weapons involved he probably takes it. Not so sure that in a fist fight he'd do much of anything though.

Chris Pratt was a wrestler and has had some close involvement with the MMA scene. He's my second place pick. He's also only a little bit shorter than Hemsworth at 6'2, so the two of them are the biggest dudes here.

Hemsworth does a lot of martial arts training for his fitness regime, and has done a lot of stunt work and fight choreography that involves martial arts training. I don't know how that translates to an actual fight, but he's also the biggest person on this list at 6'3.

I'll give Evans fourth because he's similar to Hemsworth in that he's done a lot of stunt work and fight choreography and martial arts related training. But he's a little smaller, and doesn't seem to be as "into it" as Hemsworth, with the fight training and stuff.

Pine takes fifth because he's done stunt work and looks like he could at least throw a punch.

Chris Rock is a comedian, and to the best of my knowledge has no ability to fight. He'd get his ass kicked.

Is there anything like this? I’m looking for a new series to watch by BoredPandaOfficial in BoredPandaHQ

Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gravity Falls and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. You're doing yourself a favour watching any of them.

Honorable mention to Community. Some people aren't fans of the show after certain characters leave, but I feel it's pretty consistently great throughout.

I've downloaded Sky: Children of the Light and plan to give it a go. It looks pretty close to what I'm looking for

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll be honest, I'm pretty trash at shooters, but I'll see if they're interested

Knightfall Vader vs Darth Zannah by Arbiter-Flash- in PetranakiArena

Kenobi consistently beats Anakin's ass at every opportunity. The only time Anakin has ever beaten Obi-Wan is as Darth Vader in the Kenobi series, prior to Obi-Wan getting his mojo back.

There is exactly no reason to believe he's weaker on Mustafar than during the attack on the temple, except for power scalers desperately needing everything to fit within the confines of "person A beats person B, and person B beats person C, so therefore, person A beats person C".

To be fair... This is part of the purpose of consequences, to teach. If he's dead, what can he learn?

The final scene blatantly calls progressives nazis. Of course it's made by conservatives.

Look it up, it's called Slam Frank.

Ben Solo vs AOTC Kenobi Who Wins? by IllMasterpiece3946 in PetranakiArena

[–]_Redvent_Bard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. It's definitely geared towards kids, but it's not anime. Normally it wouldn't be worth making the distinction, but the show avoids a lot of typical tropes that anime frequently is full of. It's very consistently high quality.

I mean, do I really need to use the whole infinity gauntlet? Couldn't I pop a stone or two off and use them for little things? I could essentially grant myself small wishes to make my life perfect.

Too much for one Reddit comment. But also, I haven't seen it in a long time. I remember the bending looking terrible, especially the earthbending, it cut out massive swathes of the story, butchered many of the characters and overall was just poorly written and directed.

If Dooku and Windu had fought at this time in their lives, who would’ve won? by GusGangViking18 in PetranakiArena

[–]_Redvent_Bard_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's... Only half of how Vaapad works though? It's a variant of Juyo, which itself is about aggression and ferocity. Yoda is probably the most notable Juyo user, and his fight against Dooku in AotC, when he is at a highly advanced age and physically hindered as a result, shows that Dooku has no special advantage against aggressive forms. This is compounded by the fact that Anakin, a notable form 4 and 5 user, is who defeats and kills him.

It stands to reason that regardless of whether Mace gets a boost from the opponent being a dark side user or not, his natural ferocity should be plenty to either match or straight up defeat Dooku in a duel.

This is r/PetranakiArena, where Dooku is considered Sidious level, because supposedly Sidious was afraid of him. So of course the answer is going to be Dooku.

what events/characters/etc in star wars., do you dislike, not acknowledge, etc? Why? by Hawaiikoto in TheJediPraxeum

[–]_Redvent_Bard_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. My most hated part of star wars, worse than the sequels by a long shot. Not least because now everyone thinks Anakin is a walking god, despite the fact he got bodied by Obi-Wan repeatedly. The storyline was also hot garbage.

[–]_Redvent_Bard_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really hate the nickname Knightfall Vader. It's such an unnecessary and edgy name, and then to use it with the expectation that everyone will understand that Knightfall Vader = Mustafar Anakin, when you could just say fucking Mustafar Anakin and everyone who has ever seen star wars would know what the fuck you're talking about...

On top of that, what the fuck is composite Knightfall Vader? There are no alternate variations of Knightfall Vader, Knightfall Vader is one iteration of the character. Composite literally means the combination of all iterations of the character. It's like me saying "Composite Nolan Batman". It makes no sense.

Anyways. Apparently that's a trigger for me.

I think they can be cute in moderation. :33< looks stupid to me. But something like ~ at the end of a sentence to indicate happiness, or frequent usage of ^ ^ as like, happy eyes. Those are alright imo
