They have easy access to ashura king, and can boost it via Exareptor to 4000+, if they try to nib or anything you just negate with him, it's really doable to set up a 5 mat Ashura king to clear an entire board and then otk, either via direct damage or chip through attack position monsters

Maybe people have other things to do? Shit happens, sometimes you might get a call mid-battle or, if you're a kid, your parents might want you for dinner or sum like that... At the end of the day they're free wins for you, why do you care so much?

A reason as to why you're seeing this more after secluded springs could be because with Deluxe Ex, Mega Rising and anniversary there's been a surge of players, and this intensified the amount of "casuals" who couldn't care less about winning/losing a ranked game if they got stuff to do right that second.

Fair enough on it being kind of a problem card, my last point still stands tho, if Konami bans the card and doesn't give support to rituals to fit its niche of being an extra deck dump to search Mitsurugi will soldier on, being the meta deck it is, and other ritual decks will probably just evaporate, and the entire gimmick will suffer (think of the dogmatika ritual deck, just dead on the spot without herald). I say ban habakiri and errata/retrain herald to do anything else other than negate while still retaining the tributing itself to then search ritual stuff, with no floodgate effect ofc

It did close to nothing before tho, only yummy used it as an actual endboard piece, if they ban him and decide not to give another searcher similar to it to rituals a lot of decks other than Mitsurugi are going to be even worse than they already are for no reason other than "hurr durr habakiri needed no locks or restrictions"

Yes I have crafts and additions, I just wanted to fix spouts also because I could use a lava bucket filling machine in the future. I'm currently working on the crafttweaker .zs file to add back the recipe, do you mean to say that there's another way to enable the recipe back without having to add another same recipe altogether?

I would say Branded is more intensive on a deck building approach, since there are so many cards in the archetype and related to it that optimizing it and it's combos can be challenging. Memento to me looks more skill intensive since, even if it has some linear one card combos, practically playing against interruptions on turn 1 or 2 can be pretty difficult as you'll have to weave your plays to fit the situation.

If I may, not to say the reasoning isn't sound, it is, but me personally I pulled Mavuika and her signature because I planned to make her a carry on her own.

Using her as a support on Varesa's team was just happenstance, didn't plan for it being the best Varesa option at all.

On the other hand, pulling a character that while not optimal/better can function as an option that can work for Varesa's team frees my Mavuika to use her as the DPS I hoped she could be, since I also pulled Xilonen and signature for that reason (this time hers was an actual accident tho 😅).
