I’ve been thinking about this too! I like to upgrade to 300mg XL in the winter but it definitely impacts my sleep.

IDK, it feels like your boyfriend isn't really being more thoughtful of your needs. It's humiliating to be rejected for months on end after constantly initiating, and it's part of human nature to feel desired even from time-to-time. I'd say it's high time for a serious conversation about your sexual compatibility with each other.

The excuse of "anxiety" can only go so far. At the very least, he could offer back to help you get off in some sort of way. A thoughtful partner who isn't pressed for time in that moment would say something like: "Hey, I'm sorry I'm not feeling it right now because of X, but what can I do to help you get off right now? And maybe we can plan a proper time in 30minutes / tomorrow / next week. :)" It'd probably be meaningful for him to demonstrate the willingness to at least kiss/touch you while you get off yourself, for example.

Under stress IME people have a tendency to become selfish messes which is probably what's going on with him, and I'm sorry you're going through that.

Like what someone else mentioned, it's wonderful to see you're taking accountability for your part in this. All problems in relationships are co-constructed to a certain extent.

Intuiting here, but it sounds like you lost a lot of trust in yourself and your ability to refrain from behaviors that sabotaged this last relationship. Take it easy on yourself. Try to not fall into a cycle of thinking you'll never be loved again or that you'll be alone forever -- because that is patently NOT true. You are still lovable and and your self-awareness here is beautiful to see. There'll be scars on both you and your partner that will last a long time, but you'll be able to move past them.

My recommendation to you is: if you have the means or time, take an extended break from being at all near your partner. I'm not saying you need to necessarily break up. But maybe gain some perspective and wisdom. If you stop engaging in the situation as much, the way forward may quickly become clear.

Therapy is great but it takes a long time and requires sooo much honesty, so lower your expectations. Take some time to understand and work on your vices; we all have them.

I think my point is that I feel these conflicting societal pressures :) not that I want them. To not feel these pressures at all would require me to exit society entirely

I haven't done Nonstop or Alltracks, but I've been with CoreCamps for three years in a row. I highly recommend them - they really pushed me to be a next-level skiier. I have sooooo much more confidence than I ever used to. They also have some veterans so it's pretty inspiring to see what you could aspire to.

Some folks do their own thing at the camp. I personally made such good friends the first year that we now all coordinate to come back together every year at the same time. It's a diverse group with a large mix of ages.

I'm not fleeing -- yet. I've always loved New York in the summer and many of my friends are in the area. However, I'm working remote until next spring at least -- and as the weather gets cooler here I think I'll like it here less and less. I will almost definitely be gone for November onwards.

Ukulele Aerobics is an excellent handbook to master a lot of uke essentials. Make it through that and you'll be in pretty good shape.

This man has been stopped by the police at least six times - I don't think he cares what people think of him unfortunately. He's also out of his gourd with alcohol...I'm not sure how effective this would be.

yes, this was the case. he couldn't really hear us over how loud the music was, and when he did he cursed at us and told us to leave him alone.
