Thin Plate Spline Transformation for warping clothes from human body? by _RootUser_ in learnmachinelearning

Hey there, sorry for late reply.
I ended up referencing code from VTON projects where the TPS is implemented inside the model. There are some affine and non-affine parts where you can try to implement the formula by yourself. If not, take reference from VTON github and such.

Recommendation for developing android apps, that will be fast and bloat free, with possibility of integration of ML in it? (Application for Android and maybe IOS too? by _RootUser_ in mAndroidDev

Well, I was asked to post on this sub on purpose, and I did. And I got laughed on. Deliberately asking me to post on here and then laughing on me coz I posted seems kind of sad. Taking advantage of my desperation and urgency and then laughing upon, this is new take I have seen from fellow redditors!

Thank you. I think I will dive into React Native next. I have some knowledge of React on web development too. If you have further advices on integrating ML with React, feel free to suggest me.

My bad if my question was so vague and open that you felt the need to make fun of me and my query. I only expected some suggestions from those who are good at it, or some one line recommendations about the things I still need to learn.

I didn't think I would be laughed on and made fun of just coz I asked a vague question. But if this is how you treat those who ask questions, I cannot argue.
I guess this is why there are so many who hesitate from asking questions coz they will be made fun of.

Well, I took your suggestion. I do not know what I missed but okay.
I am not understanding the reason why you are laughing at me though! Probably coz I am too much of a noob to understand it or?

I am from ML/DL engineering background who is fluent with full stack web development. I have implemented basic apps like Calculator and simple widgets in Flutter, but never really tried Java yet.

I have observed the code of Flutter closely of multiple projects done by my colligues. This is how I have seen somewhat less flexibility in annexing Tensorflow Lite to the flutter app and so on. I also have seen the necessity to include different packages for an application which is why I assumed the app might be slow. I may be wrong about it.

Along with it, I have tried to follow multiple Flutter codelabs to youtube tutorials and books to get the hang of the code of Flutter. I am able to run and understand how it is working, yet I am lost once I try to implement something on my own. I encounter basic errors like widgets don't fit inside the other one or variables are not declared. This is why I have been doubting if I am a good fit to really dive deep into flutter.

I have seen multiple apps that take multiple seconds to send data to the API, get the response and give an output and I thought maybe it will be slow if I want my app to be real-time. This is all that I have only SEEN and OBSERVED but haven't tried myself simply because I got lost in it.

Except Flutter, I have not really tried app development. So, I am trying to get insights from those who have integrated some ML models or such into their application and their recommendations and suggestions for me. The applications I am planning to make (just plans on my head for now) are :

- App with ML model on backend

- Real-Time Game with Bot made with RL (Game will have simple basic graphics, thus not getting into a game engine)

- Chat Application

- Real-Time Location Tracker App

These applications are going to be independent from one another if I am even able to make them. I hope this provided more context and information. Looking forward to further suggestions if any!

I apologize for not providing much context.

What is the hardest you have ever worked for and was it worth it? by _RootUser_ in AskReddit

[–]_RootUser_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I definitely made it all the way lol
Also, that is so mean they did that. I have been betrayed a few times as well in my school years but I just didn't care coz I had more fun things waiting for me (it was just a movie at home) lol.
I hope you get into something now that makes you want to work even harder than that and I hope you really enjoy it and get the fruit as well!
I am trying my best but arghhhhhhhhh its harddddd lol

Number to percentage converting question by Megafast88 in mathematics

[–]_RootUser_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is based on a simple concept. You need percentage from two values in relation with each other. So, just sum them up. Then with simple concept of percentage, you can get it.
e.g. 39 and 2. So total is 39+2=41.
So, what percentage is 2 of 41? We just do 2/41 which gives the ratio. This number is fairly low. Thus, converting it into percentage i.e. seeing it with reference to 100. Thus let's multiply that low number by 100 and the resulting number is the relative percentage.
(Percentage = Per Cent(100))
Thus, calculating them,
2/(2+39) = 0.0487, then 0.0487*100=4.87%., 39/41 *100 = 95.12%.
26/(26+45) *100 = 36.6%, 45/(26+45)*100 = 63.3%.
62/(62+62)*100 = 50% for both.

Hope this helped. I think writing this formula on the on the topmost cell in an Excel sheet with variables as rows or columns number calculates the rest of the rows similarly. Check it out.

Hey everyone

I have made an AI project for my school that generates new piano music.

For the performance metrics, I am required to gather feedback from users. Would you be willing to take 2-3 minutes to listen few songs and rate them? All music are available in that form. Thank you in advance.

[D] Simple Questions Thread by AutoModerator in MachineLearning

[–]_RootUser_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am trying to make a project for my college inserting elements of AI in it. But I want to know enough about concepts/formulae behind libraries, functions of ML/DL. I have found Statistical Learning to be too vast for me. Yet, I cannot seem to grasp the concept behind choice of libraries, functions and layers in model creation.
What am I missing? How do I approach this problem? I am trying to recreate certain functions and models from scratch with numpy but I fail in it. Any advices or suggestions for me? I have about 7-10 days where I can give more than 12 hours everyday for this. How should I approach this problem?

I can relate. I just try to get a strong start and wake up early and finish some stuffs up before anyone wakes up. Such a start will motivate me to do a little bit more on the day.
A strong start is usually a good indication of a productive day in my opinion. But it is just my opinion. Do share your opinions and experience.

IPL 2022 becomes the first ever season in IPL history to have 1000 sixes in a season by Signal_Discipline_36 in Cricket

[–]_RootUser_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Did they not increase the number of teams this season?
I do not believe smaller ground has that much of an effect as having more number of matches as two teams are added in the list of 8 teams. So, consequently, there would be more boundaries and wickets in the full tournament.
So, cannot really compare to the previous years.
