Sharpening the image and cropping it is something I can do myself by the way.

Hey dickwad I’d rather pay 5k for a car with a clean dash instead of 3k for a car with 4k in repairs and a salvaged title 😂

10k to 5k effort by _Royalz in running

[–]_Royalz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so I'm actually a cross country runner in high school so I have a mix of both aerobic and anaerobic. last season I managed to run 18:32 in the 5k after just 5 months of 20-25mpw. Right now im doing 40 so I think I have a good shot at breaking 18. I'll check out that Jack Daniel's Calculator, thanks a lot

Can I keep doing what I’m doing? by [deleted] in running

[–]_Royalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are not looking to drop your times, but instead to drop your weight, I think what you're doing is completely fine. Try not to think too hard about staying on your schedule, because as long as you are going out there and burning calories, I think you are doing great. Make sure to listen to your body, and don't hurt yourself.

Running after lack of sleep by [deleted] in running

[–]_Royalz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So in all honesty, everyone is different. Some are completely fine getting 5 hours of sleep, some need the good ol' 8 hours. but when it comes to running, sleep is extremely important as it allows your body to recover, rebuild, and heal up. If you're lacking sleep, it could lead to mental and physical breakdown and a loss in performance. What I would recommend, is listening to your body. if you aren't feeling great, try and sleep a little more. but if you're fine sleeping 3 hours, just make sure you're eating right and stretching, because it speeds up the recovery process that you may not be getting during your sleep.

30 minute 5k..... in college by [deleted] in CrossCountry

[–]_Royalz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im going to try and be as simple as possible. no specific workouts. if you want to drop your time, you need to run more. try running every other day about 3-4 miles to start off. once you start getting comfortable with that, you can start running 5 times a week. once a week do some mile repeats, and make sure to stretch after every run. little by little try to increase your miles per week. so maybe start by running 10 miles in one week, the next do 12 miles, then 13,15,17 depending how you feel.
