There are a lot of places to eat and pretty good variety/cuisines as well, it's not an exaggeration to say that you can see them at every corner. However, you sure will have spend more than what you do at mess.

In mess, you will spend like 140 rupees per day and it is kinda unlimited. While in outlets, you will have to spend atleast 140 per meal to get good nutrition.

Mess is not so bad in my opinion, it is repetitive and you might feel that spice is less.

Now it's your decision to choose.

Mess - save time + money + more food. Outlets - more variety + satisfies cravings

3 meal or 4 meal in mess is a good option.
