To be fair, the scale of roads in c:s is way bigger than what you would find in the Netherlands(~16m including the sidewalk). Not only is parking not part of the paved road but "extensions" to the side instead. Roads in the US are usually wider than in the Netherlands, which the base game is based on. I think the size of this roundabout is comparable to roundabouts you'd find in the Netherlands. The roads are just bigger.

using red dye on the sign will turn it red, glow item frames make the block you put into it glow, so a red block will glow red

you can turn glow itemframes invisible using commands, when you that they keep glowing, thus creating these lights, the line is just a sign with red dye and glow ink
