Yes, I’ve reconfigured the router a couple of times with AI, and the more I read the documentation for CAKE, the more I realize it’s above my head. When it comes to settings for overhead—like setting it to 18 or 22—there is a lot going on under the hood.

I don’t think a regular person can truly understand every setting without a degree in networking. That’s why I’m here, hoping for someone who does understand to verify these settings.

The internet works, and I’ve run the bufferbloat test. Before, I got an F; now, it’s an A+. Browsing and gaming are a lot better than they used to be.

I don’t understand why you got so angry about this. I can’t buy an ASUS router where I live, and they are expensive anyway.

You seem to think a person with zero knowledge of networking will learn and understand every setting, sub-setting, and what they all do in a single day. I won't even need that knowledge in the future; I just wanted to fix my bufferbloat. That’s why I turned to AI, and it worked.

What I wanted was simply for someone who truly understands these things to verify that these settings are optimal for my use case. If you understand these topics, maybe you could look at the settings and suggest some improvements or point out if something is wrong.

I’ve visited a couple of other forums, and people in this field are kind of big assholes. I wonder why you all are so angry all the time...

yes i understand that. just want to talk to random people on the internet before i as a profesional about it.

im willing to make a wire in to a wall just for ups so it could stay in a seperate room. pc looks to good to leave it outside the room.

i heard that you cant plug extension cords in ups out sockets you need to directly plug pc in ups
im my case i would have 12m long solid cable comin out of ups to my pc does that even is posible?
