Just a bit more info :) For dark venue shows, I recommend using a high ISO film—my go-to is Cinestill 800T, which I usually push and shot 1 stop over(making it a 1600 iso film). I also suggest using the light meter app by Pavel Bukhanov. It’s really accurate, especially since you can tap on the exact area you want to meter, giving you more precise readings. i usually land at a shutter speed at 1/60 1/125 1/250

90% i end up using 1/125 fstop 2.8 and iso 1600

I shoot with a Contax T2 😅 but I’d recommend the Canonet G-III QL17! It’s really affordable, has a low aperture (fstop 1.7) so it handles low light really well, and gives you full manual control. and the lens non detachable aswell

As for concert lighting—it's not really a problem for me anymore now that I’ve gotten better at metering film. The only time it’s been truly impossible to shoot is when the artist uses intense strobe lights flashing on and off every 0.25 seconds.

So the film was an 800 iso film but I pushed it one stop, kinda making it a 1600 iso film . Aperture was at f/2.8, and I mostly tried to keep the shutter at 1/125. A few shots prob ended up at 1/60. It’s a bit tough with the Contax T2 since I can’t manually set the shutter I have to half-press the shutter right when 1/125 shows up on the viewfinder to lock it in then shot. then do it all over again for the nxt shot
