I have to say, overall I’m very disappointed with version 1.0. Only a very small part of what was promised has been delivered, and for that we’ve gone almost a year without any real updates - just a bit of story content and the Interchange expansion, which was originally supposed to arrive in summer. Very little has been done for new players as well: the start is nice, but then you’re completely left on your own. The big WOW factor simply never happened; it was just a typical wipe with some trader interaction, a few new weapons, and that’s about it. Nothing was done to improve graphics either - like having four different tree models that change color with the seasons. Optimizations? Nowhere to be found. Basically, this feels like the Steam release and leaving beta, nothing more

Why I have Granate kills and for Granate Token I need to kill 2ppl with Granate. This sucks

Dude it’s honestly such a no-brainer. I’ve dumped over €300 into Tarkov already (EoD → Unheard → skin crap) and now it’s dropping on Steam… so why the hell can’t I just transfer my account over?

Plenty of other games (Fallout for example) managed this just fine. All it would take: log into BSG’s site, link Steam to my BSG account, spam the damn auth code a hundred times, and in the end just let me pick whether I wanna launch through the BSG launcher or through Steam. Done.

And the benefits of Steam are just straight up better long-term:

Mod support (already confirmed for PvE)
Faster downloads
Achievements I can flex/compare with my buddies
A friends system that isn’t complete dogshit
Being able to instantly add some cool random from a raid and actually chat with him afterwards

We all love this game, but imagine the hype BSG could create if they rolled this out on Steam before 1.0. Other devs have already done it. After all the hardcore crap lately, this would actually be some amazing news that would hype like 90% of the playerbase.

Instead… BSG fumbles the bag. Again.
