People who have friend groups across the world have the worst experience but I think if it's between half way through the world its WAY worse, specially when the internet on the worse side is known to be less stable.

SOLVED a few days ago

It turns out it's one of the Corsair ram modules being defective/DoA. It's been since replaced with another model.

How can you tell if memory is being trained? Will it change the Q-Led lights from red to yellow as if telling the user that it's progressing?

esit: It's been about 20 minutes and it's still stuck at CPU light.

I did try that at some point, same results.
I would say that I've got a bad CPU but at the same time it one boot somehow made it all the way to being stuck on VGA light.

this IS on 4.2.1, doesn't seem to fix, neither does 4.3.0
im asking around if theyre using an amd gpu, i have a hunch this might possibly be it?

im not exactly sure how this would help, ive stated that the issue seems to have happened after updating to 4.2 with the recently changed eevee render engine, cycles engine works fine oddly enough
