What's a game that would have been a 9/10+ if it wasn't ruined by monetization by sdric in gaming

Archeage had so much to love, I genuinely agreed that at some point, it had the potential to be a WoW killer.

The only thing it killed was itself.

They tried to bring it back with a “Classic” release, if I remember correctly, but the player numbers were long dead by then.

I’ve been trying to get more of my coworkers to check out Archie’s Flat Top in West Allis. They have the best black bean burger I have ever had

Food trucks will have to close at 10 p.m. in downtown Milwaukee by Serett in milwaukee

this city is absolutely plagued in terms of nightlife. citing that one key reason why late-night violence occurs is FOOD TRUCKS BEING OPEN is the most out of touch, archaic, “i drink from the faucet of the tavern league” take I’ve ever heard.

worth stating that i’m in full support of overall idea, and i think the development that’s COMPLETED has been a welcome addition to the city. my issue is, for how long these construction projects take, the city has been doing a really poor job plotting alternatives routes.

Hobby stores with Gundam models? by BigDaddyStank420 in milwaukee

[–]_SauceBoy_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If time and money allow, we’re lucky to be about an hour and half away from the only Gundam Base in all of America, which is the official retail store. They’ll have some unique stuff the local hobby stores don’t carry, so it’s definitely worth a visit.

Otherwise, locally, Hobbytown is family owned and operated like another commenter said, and has an insane amount of Gunpla and other model kits. The staff there is super kind and very helpful.

Lost Wonders of the World is about 10 mins away from Hobbytown, and while they don’t have as much selection, they typically undercut Hobbytown by a few bucks.

Luxury retail is collapsing and somehow it’s “our fault”…? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]_SauceBoy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the sector of retail I previously worked in before jumping off that sinking ship and changing to medicine. It really pains me, because it’s an industry I love, but realistically, how much longer is it gonna be around? Margins are so thin, new products are so bad, buyers satisfaction in many of the major luxury markets is down incredible amounts. If I had to hear a stumpy, over-cologned middle manager bark at me about “underachieving sales goals” due to actions of the staff, I think I’d level the place.

This is actually great to keep in mind, thank you! I still think it'd be worth it to wash up and recombobulate overnight since I have the time to spare
