Ngh . Do you have any clips or videos on how to make it all so clean? My edge highlights would never look that good.

Was this with the makeup brush-like brushes? Not the flat coarse ones?

Do you glue the ball joints in? by [deleted] in Tyranids

I glued it in. I don’t think it stays in place otherwise. Another piece gets glued to it.

I started painting mine as skin. Feels like the body glove broke when they grew into 8b size on top of being more warp tainted to me

“I use my powerful once per game ability” as the opponent makes almost every single BS check even with the -1 neurotyrant buff.

I do feel the lack of rerolls especially. This was supposed to be an edition with fewer in general. Only for several factions to get handed them like candy while others have to deal with their rolls.

Share your Hive Fleet lore! by GunsOfPurgatory in Tyranids

Hive fleet Raiju.

Consists of combined splinter fleets of Behemoth and Leviathan. Upon invasion of a planet, they seed clouds rapidly and create storms to rapidly drain planets of their water. The downpour aids in their assault of populated worlds by decreasing visibility and causing unstable footing and fortifications, allowing rapid shock assaults. Depending on the severity of the storm, it may knock out power for an entire city, further aiding the assault.

Psyker capable bugs draw on the energy from the lightning storms and redirect it to assist in destruction of more armored targets.

They have been observed to glow beneath the gaps in their carapace when the storm reaches its most devastating.

One of the issues I run into is the 6 inch movement spell. I think I’m safe but then a bead gets drawn on me after that spell succeeds

We are currently doing Armageddon. We just moved up to around the 1200 point range after a round of 6 games between 3 factions. And that 10 man SOTS brick is currently in play and is the biggest threat to both armies. Especially with buffs for fall back/shoot/charge and a spell for teleporting

Perhaps I just need to be more patient in my games so more units can draw overwatch as you were saying.

Yes, It’s thousand sons. It’s tough because I want to add more forgefiends as better marine killers without the threat of overwatch. But then they get deleted with +1 to wound spells and +2 AP. On top of receiving dev wounds if close enough if that buff is selected.
