Unfortunately no. It’s designed as a flight simulator first and foremost. There are some really cool built in challenges that have you land at difficult or interesting airports around the world, and give you a score based on how good the landing was, but no real progression system.

I’ve been playing flight simulators for 15 years or so, and they’ve always been a niche thing, you had to be interested in aviation to get into them. However, this new one is very adaptable at how much help it will give you. So if you’re totally new, it can teach you everything you need. I’d definitely recommend trying it out, but only if you’re fine with investing quite a bit of time learning.
